I also remember one time I had a hard time driving because some idiot in a Volvo had his brights on behind me. I try to be as mindful as possible of not only people in front of me but people on the other side, if it's close enough to be affected by such. This really depends on where you live, though. A large metro area typically associates the Interstate with "big highway in town" where the median is trivially small and there's six lanes in each direction. Australian Survivor did it way better, with it occurring at the final four (with a Final Two FTC) and the challenge winner, somewhat ironically, getting to ask the jury questions to gauge who was best to remove (it was prohibited to ask an ally any questions reminiscent of "Who should I get rid of?"). While I liked it more in structure there, I still felt it was going against the core of Survivor. You should not have control over who is and is not on the jury starting the second round of the merge. This is why I was baffled during HHH by the way people were like " It would have been way better to do that in Kaoh Rong, with Aubry as the final juror. Having greens and nuts instead of extra cheese and greasy meats is a step in the right direction. Instead of 33% of a pizza being cheese, I'm having 10% of it be on a salad, which ends up being a smaller portion that's just as filling. The amount of bacon is also lower. It's simply a step in the right direction as opposed to the really high-calorie stuff like friend chicken tends to be. Bob won Gabon despite being there for the experience. Fresh in my head and all. This also depends on if you count "there to discover thyself" as being there for the experience, which I would. Robb Z on Thailand falls into that category. There were probably others also, but that storyline of wanting the experience was shelved for the most part after Marquesas. The John Carroll blindside completely transformed the shape of the show and, with Rob Cesternino cementing the new style of Survivor gameplay, they had to shelve garbage that the fans didn't care about like "I'm just here for the experience." And it IS garbage, because for the most part those people aren't dynamic characters. They're passive, reactive players who genuinely don't care about the game around them and only deliver banal narration as to how they're "experiencing it." Nobody can relate to that because, except for prior castaways, they've never experienced it themselves. People like Gabe are wastes of spots for that reason. Though I am pretty light on the bacon, at least. One slice for a meal salad. Here are my current two favorites: BLT in a Bowl: Mixed greens, tomatoes, bacon, croutons, ranch dressing Cranberry Bacon Bleu: Mixed greens, cranberries, bleu cheese, real bacon bits (not the synthetic ones), pecans, Granny Smith apple slices, maple syrup, balsamic vinaigrette dressing The former is standard fare and almost everyone here knows why that's delicious. The latter is from my favorite pizza place and the maple syrup makes it taste candied.
