At what point does it become cheaper to just buy a fountain and get the syrup and carbonate in bulk.

I've been buying the Zero Water water filters and it's about $15 for a month of clean drinking water (my tap water from the municipal supply registers at above 220PPM before being filtered) then I make gatorade from powder at $6 a tin (which lasts half a week) so it's $63 a month to drink my preferred poison.

It is the best of places, it is the worst of places.

You can find communities that are really great and then you stumble across some places that are just flaming dumpster fires.

Until recently I was a power user, but then google stopped supporting apps on my phone, so I only use old.reddit on desktop and I don't spend nearly as much time as I used to.

I have had a headache for the better part of the last thirty six years and my latest doctor finally agreed that maybe I do actually need an MRI; that was in 2019.

Last year the hospital informed my doctor they never got my bloodwork and so never scheduled me in. Still waiting to hear where I am on the waiting list, if I am on the list.

So yeah, worrying I won't wake up probably has contributed to my insomnia and overall mental health.

If you can find a copy, it's a great stand alone single player that has a battle mode and a mission mode in addition to the regular racing modes you get in normal Mario Kart games.

I played it so much I knew almost all the hard mode AI's path finding per position on nearly every track.

It's pre flight mechanics, which can be a little jarring going back to, but I still love it.

If you're old money or are otherwise part of Society (note the capital S before taking umbrage) then it's expected you own a tuxedo and your going to be wearing it after eighteen hundred hours.

I've never owned a tux and I no longer have any suits; when I did there was never any real occasion to wear a Tux and the suits seem overkill in retrospect. If I dress up these days it's black jeans, dress shirt, maybe a blazer or nice jacket; I never wear dress shoes anymore, they going to be steel toed or composite safety boots.

I cook it in the microwave and watch it, depending on the bowl used and how much is in it, it may overflow if left unattended, but I just pause the cooking if it looks like it is getting ready to spill over.

We had a stove but it was for burning wood to heat the house and wasn't something we wanted to try cooking on.

Putting in three runs into a game kinda suggests you liked it.

Usually up the Deer Valley trail but it depended on where I was living in Calgary at the time. When I was in the SW, it would be up to the Glenbow reservoir and maybe into city center but when I lived in the SE and the NW I had easy access to the Deer Valley and Bow River trails.

Really digged it, wonder if they paid any royalties to Soprano's producers or if they just got the actors, the song and the locations and did an end run around HBO.

Ben Hur, famous movie, you probably have seen it; not only was it an adaptation of a book, it was also a remake of an earlier attempt to put in the silver screen.

Growing up, it was a big bowl of oatmeal almost every day.

In my twenties it was a rotation of grilled cheese, sausages, omelettes, and sometimes oatmeal (especially if it's cold) though on weekends I would skip breakfast until after my morning ride which could be several hours or more.

These days, its likely to be a can of ensure to tide me through until my meal for the day. Oatmeal would be nice but milk's too expensive, and making oatmeal with water is just disgusting.

I'll eat the noodles then use the broth to make rice, especially if it's the Asian original noodles and not the Mr Noodles knockoff, those flavour packs are too weak to make a decent broth.
