Thats a shame, hopefully you can meet some people to play with. It does get a lot harder when youre an adult though. While I have friends, its still rare that I we will actually play Mario Party together. Growing up sucks lol

I recently bought Mario Party 4, 9, 10 and Star Rush.
Why? Because I want to have all Mario Party games in my collection.
I've always loved the Mario Party games, though at their respective releases, I never had the urge to buy 9 and 10 because of their shitty car gimmicks.

The only games I have left to get is 1, 2, Island Tour and Super.
I might get The Top 100 just for kicks because I have only the digital version of that game.

Cool! Mario Party 2 is proubably my favorite Mario Party game overall. I picked up The Top 100 when it came out and its fun, but its a lot better if you can actually play with others of course.

Super Mario Party is my favorite Switch game. The game just makes me so happy and excited each time I play a round and its one of the best multiplayer games in recent memory. I have always loved Mario Party games a lot ever since the very first one, so I might be a tad biased.

hedgehogs are solitary animals. They don't want to interact with you. they don't even want to interact with other hedgehogs, unless it's baby-making time. Whenever you snuggle with your hedgehog, it will get stressed. Whenever you hand-feed your hog, it will get fear for its life. Literally any other fad pet would be a better choice than a hedgehog if you care even a little about the well-being of your animal companions.

While they are solitary animals, that doesnt mean that they cant be fine around humans. I have an African Pygmy hedgehog and he is normally chill with laying/falling asleep on me and he will take food from my hands without stress. I would agree that a hedgehog picked out of the wild is not really a good idea, but most experts and vets will say that African Pygmy hedgehogs make good pets.

they're cute and docile, but they are not even remotely domesticated, and can never grow to trust or like you, so every single time you interact with them you're causing them stress

There is really no such thing as a fully domesticated animal, as they all exhibit behavior that is not always ideal for a human household. As long as you are treating them properly and maintain their habitat well, they will thrive. There are a lot of hedgehogs that bond with their owners and get more comfortable.

I knew from a pretty young age that I didn't want that responsibility. I love spending time with my nieces but I also love being able to send them home when I'm tired of being responsible for them. I'm too selfish with my time to give as mush as would be needed to a child of my own. I don't want ro stop my movie or game to help you with homework. I don't want to cancel my night out because you got sick or the babysitter canceled. I don't want to deal with you misbehaving.

I am a great Uncle. But would not make for a good father.

This describes how I feel perfectly. Being an uncle without the responsibility of a father is amazing. I would rather enjoy the majority of my free time without interruptions from a kid of my own. My wife and I talk about enjoying our current freedom all the time.

As much as it got a lot of hate for turning Shadow into a gun-toting edgelord for the sake of appealing to the masses, it was actually pretty solid as a 3D Sonic game. My biggest complaint was that you had to go through every story variant (14, if memory serves) to get the true ending, and that just got so tedious that I gave up on the game before I made it. The story variants were, for the most part, the sort of hamfisted choices that are often passed off as a morality system (save puppy to be good, kick puppy to be evil, alternate to be neutral), and presenting all of them as being equally viable alternatives for explaining who Shadow is ("this... is WHO I AM," because subtlety is apparently not cool) really made them all seem pointless and not worth slogging through for the sake of getting to another variant that invalidated them all. I would much rather have seen them give a more linear, concrete exploration of Shadow's past and identity than to take such a half-assed "you get to choose!" approach that didn't commit to anything and required me to play through Westopolis a million times.

As a 3D Sonic game, though, the controls worked pretty well, the gunplay occasionally added some interesting segments, I remember the level designs being generally passable... It wasn't a bad game. Worth playing, but nothing amazing and not as good as SA1/2 were.

I must confess that I love the game, Shadow the Hedgehog. I got it when it was new and I played it a lot. The tone and mechanics of the game are so cool. SEGA did a great job expanding upon Shadows character and lore. The guns are also quite fun to use. I actually enjoy quite a few modern Sonic games, even if there are glaring flaws.
