That's objectively a positive unless it's like a Silent Hill HD Collection situation. I'd get people being miffed if the PS5 version was a bad port, but from what I've seen it's not. Some people are new gamers or just plain skipped on the original and would be interested in a version with a fresh coat of paint. As far as fantasy JRPG characters go, Squall and Tifa are great choices for fighting gunners. I don't agree with the general consensus that seems to be them getting headshot the moment they try to approach. Both of them canonically defeat numerous enemies with bullets, and they both have Advent Children-style mobility to close the gap. They wouldn't beat Chief or Doom Slayer, but they'd be an non-negligible threat...without stuff like the BFG in play. --- It's Reyn Time. |

It almost didn't get localized - a Capcom higher-up had to lie in order to get approval because of his faith in the series. Even then the sales weren't nearly as good compared to Apollo Justice, which had amazing sales in Japan thanks to goodwill from the DS trilogy re-release popping off. Not compared to the insane hours some people post about, anyway. Playing just the main story and maybe some side quests here and then is 'only' five full-length JRPGs strapped together. You don't NEED to do the insane amount of side content. I've seen people here marathoning the Yakuza series and that's way crazier to me. Some people who start FF14 absolutely would be sucked in regardless and do all the side stuff, though, so it's not a recommendation I can make without recognizing the potential for it to drain someone's time. --- It's Reyn Time. |

Turtling doesn't help either as Kazuma is going to die to one-handed Zagreus unless they help. Automatic sneak attack upon revival is one aspect Rika could theoretically help her team avoid, but I'm not sure they'll get that far. --- It's Reyn Time. |
