Consider in like '94 he was already 40, and Seinfeld ended 98/99. I personally thought Jerry passed as 30's throughout the whole run, partially because his character never aged so yeah, it's a bit of a surprise.

It kinda sucks that the reality for most people is that they're not allowed to get sick

Or set yourself up to be way behind and then lose it.

I got lucky last week.

One guy in HS died. Shot in front of his house from what I heard, and he wasn't into good business.

Year later, teacher is giving away leftover notebooks, I take one, open it later, and there's a lone page of him attempting schoolwork the year prior. I never used that notebook. Should still have it too.

I'm in an area with ridiculous rent, and some people I know have opted to buy a house.

I get the incentive of at least having a consistent payment and living space , but the cost of paying off that mortgage and HOA, etc is still insane imo, since by no surprise, the housing market is inflated.

Done local retail, and now working with customers on a national level. On either level, there were definitely more bad customers than good. I think it speaks to what kind of natural norms of intelligence, expectations, and I guess general mannerisms we have in society at least in America, for me. Of course some customers go into the interaction the way they do with an agenda. That's people for you. So anxious to take and to have, make themselves a priority.

I'm not on the edge, nor am I trying to give anyone ideas, but really now...Does the person who indulges in treating someone like shit behind a counter/phone/computer always expect said someone on the other end to not be a psychopath or snap? Find where the person lives and plot a way to kill or torture them? Yeah, it's dark. It's not justified, but at some point, you can't act surprised if it happens.

Yeah, credit pulls for multiple loan applications around the same time time should be counting as just one pull.

I've never done financing outside of a dealer yet, mainly because the interest has been reasonably low enough. If it's a specific offer, yeah like said you're likely going to be held to using their financing by policy, or because dealerships are like that.

tbh VW is a bunch of crooks though. Cars tend to fall apart sooner than later and a lot of the driver base is...something else.

I've been to Disneyland a number of times (but I'm not on that annual passholder level). It's a real thing to try to do the things you couldn't do before same as if your parents couldn't get you certain toys and stuff and you end up picking up remastered pieces etc.

The last trip really wore on me, though. I haven't done every last thing I set out to do, but I feel like I did a lot to the point I exhausted it. Add in the increasing crowds (despite the price hikes), it became a bit of a chore sometimes. I worked the Fastpasses hard, park-jumping a lot. While I feel bad for the first-time families who dragged their kids into 2 hour lines for a ride (and I was on my 2nd/3rd pass of the day), the fun kinda got sucked out of it.

I might go see the Star Wars stuff, but my mind is set on making future visits fun for someone else who comes with. Would love it to be a kid, but the expenses of raising a kid in California, without taking shortcuts (proper healthcare/education/EC programs etc no offense to anyone) is well above my pay grade.

One thing to have a lot of friends, another to have a contrast circle or group.

Great for those who have it working out. I found people inevitably start talking shit about each other. Like maybe it's fun in the teenage years, but later on it's like forced filler to make life "interesting".

If you have a bad feeling about those two, you don't want to wait until you start wishing you split sooner.

I guess in everyone's moral compass, you don't really want to abandon someone knowing what path they could take after, but at the same time, you can't force them to be any different. You're just holding J back from his KKK and neo-nazi enrollment.

Granted I was a kid, but above all, I remember how simple things were. These two above others:

- Snick, and Nickelodeon in general. I mean I could know well that I was watching the 100th repeat of Hey Arnold, Rugrats, All That, etc, but it's when Saturdays felt longer.

That's all the world had to be for me and my friends. There was sports, movies, and pizza in between, but no social media (not many of us on AIM yet either) or anyone telling us how to look at society other than to just live in it.

KaZooo
07/16/19 9:05:09 PM

It's all subjective, and I think lot of people look for relationships/dating because for the sake of conforming to society's "norm". I'm kind of an asshole when I say this, but I do think a lot of people settle on acting like they're in love because they convinced themselves that being single is such taboo. I get how marriage can just have it's everyday ups and downs, but sometimes to me it's just going through the motions of graduating from a traditional blueprint.

It just baffles me that someone wants to buy a house, or have kids, and just finds that their partner makes everyday difficult. I've been someone to complain to. I have to beat around the bush and listen, avoiding asking "so why are you with him/her?"

People are like that to a fault. Stand on commitment because they don't want to be alone, or be another in the divorce statistic.

It's not people I hate, but the nature of society. People have certain views because that's what they were born into. It's so much easier said than done to develop a moral conscious and intellect because you're only as self-aware as your immediate surroundings let you.

So far this guy seems pretty transparent.$100k via YT ads. Of course it didn't happen overnight, and he needed to create compelling content to get viewers in the first place. Each to their own. I check it out just to see his viewpoints on certain investing measures. But once you get the viewers, it snowballs. Upside to his method is his videos are pretty plain, too.

He could be capitalizing on the fact as he gets richer, people get more curious.

Seems like, if that's how it's done (and no it's not easy), why don't we all do it? For me, I'm firm on limiting exposure. You never know if you end up being a target of sorts.

As someone who is kinda trying to last through the Arrowverse, I can't judge until a few episodes in.

I'm kinda hoping it's a worthwhile watch if they can stop forcing the "girl power" agenda. The whole appeal of a lot of male characters has nothing to do with them being male, but just the characters they are.

The CW and the Arrowverse have been going out of their way to show homosexuality and increased female presence. I mean nothing wrong with having those elements, but they're over-dramatizing it and seemingly trying to lure in the kneejerk viewer crowd.

Anyway in general:

Arrow Season 1/2/5 and first half of 7 were solid.
Flash Season 1, a good chunk of 2 were solid as well.

Stephen Amell is cemented as the Arrow. Grant Gustin is the Flash those actors lived up to those roles imo. It's a shame the writers are writing up the lamest shit for the Flash, though.

I was enjoying Black Lightning, but usually try to crash by the time it's on.

Supergirl is so-so. Legends is just too jumbled to care for; you can tell that's just an airing space for the "leftovers" that played minor roles in Arrow.
