This one's a bit weird to me. Something about the way they sound doesn't sound entirely natural. Likely lipsyncing, but even then I'm not sure Kazuha really ever hits those notes unless she's continuing this peculiar streak of fast development. Long hair Chaewon ftw tho. N Sync had JT and JC who were throwing down on MMC covering Babyface and stuff. They got into the collabs with Nelly, Janet, and Blaque early on. The group was a better combination for harmonizing. BSB wasn't all "white". Maybe that was the goal, but I wouldn't say they therefore really were. For trivia they technically had 2 Hispanic dudes. They've done Boyz II Men covers and such early on. IIRC they had that one dude featured on "Get Down" where they tried to adopt some thing of a rap verse. But yeah their pace worked a bit different, and I think part of the situation is that they were slightly older than N Sync I think I remember seeing an N Sync performance where they did a cover of a BSB track early on. imo each of the BSB members standalone could hold a solo, whereas with N Sync I'd say Joey/Chris/Lance were more of components to make for a better collective. We can prop up how talented JT and JC are, but Brian (sucks what happened to his vocal chords) and AJ were pretty legit. Thing is Brian was more vested into being a Christian singer and AJ iirc kinda had to deal with life. But her trying to put her own spin with the moves was cool. I'm not sure about her mic handling. Juria and Hinata don't seem to spontaneously pull it so far out. I don't think she was necessarily lip syncing though. There is a part where she cut short and stuttered, and generally for these smaller segments they don't have to lip sync. Unfortunately I haven't had any other comparable chains recently, but from what I can remember: Little Caesar's was a little worse imo Chucky Cheese as well Dominoes...I seriously can't recall what that was like anymore Round Table was a little better Costco is to each their own. In some ways I think it's worse, but value wise probably still better if you could bother to drive over. Promo had some thing where it was like $20 to get a medium pepperoni sausage pizza + one free medium cheese + free 2 liter Pepsi (which I don't drink). I'm not mad at that, if someone literally only has $20 to spend and needed something of a snack/light dinner for 3-4 people delivered. I think it's probably right where it should be for "last resort" food. Owning a home gives you more control over things. The security in not having to move when you don't want to of course being the biggest thing. But depending on market it can still be wildly expensive. In my area I can't make sense of parting with over $200,000 as a down payment. Paying a mortgage thereafter probably higher than $5k/month + Taxes + HOA + all the overhead + keeping up with shit like renovation and permits. Rent isn't exactly cheap either, but this is the tipping point. I'm not sure about having my life revolve around a house outside of money. I can make sense of this being a multi-generational investment, so maybe I'd be positioned with having to take such a hit in life; but if I had to get a house, I might really need to move to a suburb with a relatively new construction or land I can build off of. The intricacies of his combos made him closer to a living version of the game than everyone else. You can tell the way he looked at skating was way different, and continued to do so through his career and coming back from injury.
