I get taken off around 22-23% of my paycheck and while its not something I like, I feel better knowing that my family has a good health insurance. That it goes towards my child's and other kids education. The problem I do have is how wasteful the government can be. How they can have outrageous salaries and have blank checks for military contractors. Lender offered me 800 payment for 7k closing costs while 888 for 3.5k. To me it seems like a no brainer to pick the highest cost since I would be saving more than 1k per year, but he was pushing me to go for the lowest one.
