I think I saw chart somewhere that showed if you include theatrical films and the "Making Of" behind the scenes docs they'll be releasing, we actually will have new Marvel content every single week until the end of the year.

Just because your preferred way of viewing it is to binge it (nothing wrong with that) does not mean it was made with that intention. The show is very obviously designed to generate weekly discussion and buzz. Any modern show is going to be conducive to binging since that's how we tend to rewatch shows and how new and future viewers will likely absorb it, but the production and release of this show makes it very obvious its initial release is intended as an "event series" that is discussed week to week at the office water cooler.

It was not made to be binge watched. You people are just impatient and can't cope with cliffhangers.

I've only spent a week in Chicago, but I like it. The architecture is cool, there's a lot of fantastic food, and every person I met was nice. Also, I've traveled to a lot of places around the country and I'm pretty sure for a big city Chicago has the least amount of homeless people. So they must be doing something right there. It was also cold as fuck while I was there. So maybe all the ones who don't get shipped out to California just freeze to death. Anyway, I definitely want to come back one day. Ideally if I had the money I'd propose to my girlfriend after a nice dinner at Alinea.

I ran into a PotDer at Fanime one year and it was hella awkward because I wasn't active at the time and had no idea who they were, but they recognized me from pictures I had posted I guess. I can't remember who they said were and if it's a currently active user or not. I had actually blocked this memory out until just now apparently lol

There's no one size fits all that works for everyone. If you both feel ready and confident then that's really all you need. You don't need to use others a barometer.

Splatoon 3 is interesting. They need to differentiate it from 2 since they will both be on Switch. Weird reveal though. Also I'm shocked they didn't do more for Zelda's 35th

Overall this was a fairly lackluster Direct. The only announcements that got me really interested were the Legend of Mana Remaster and Project Triangle Strategy. But I am particularly stoked about the latter because that hits all my sweetspots in what I want in a game.

Well, it's cool other people will get to play Skyward Sword, but that BotW2 intro was such a tease.

Maybe it's going to end with a huge bombshell announcement...

Okay, Project Triangle Strategy is the highlight of this Direct for me so far.

oh fuck it's tactical too. I want this game now.

I played the first one and enjoyed it for what it was, but it wasn't enough to get me super interested in playing the others. I might check out the third at some point, but it looked very similar to what I remember of the first.

I think Famicom was NES and Super Famicom was SNES, so they're a generation prior.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It's a really fun game even if it leans a bit heavily into anime tropes.

Pyra/Mythra is slightly better than Rex, at least.

Did it? I thought I remember everything wrapping up pretty nicely. I didn't play the DLC but my understanding is that a prequel (I plan to get to it soon). I may be misremembering though. Could you spoiler tags what the cliffhanger you're referring to is?

But yeah, if no XCX port, I'd be stoked to hear about sequel. Based on their previous development cycles though, I'm not really expecting anything quite yet.
