I would like to make a quick suggestion if you haven't already addressed it, and that's make sure to get general affairs in order. My uncle passed in January, and it saddens me to think of all the nonsense that my aunt had to deal with after his passing. How some companies could not understand that a dead man couldn't come in to cancel a bank account or even to change the name on the house they owned.

It's not the symbol that bothers me. I'm not Christian, but you do you. The thing that bothers me is that you spent 4 grand on something that can get lost very easily, and to be honest, a similar design could be obtained for far cheaper than you spent on it. No, it wouldn't be 18 carots, but only people who give a damn about carot value would really know the difference.

I had a nice onyx one when I was in my late teens that cost me maybe 40 dollars Canadian. If it were 200 dollars I doubt anyone would have cared, even 1k. It's that you openly said that it cost 4 grand, and to be completely honest, the pendant cross looks like trash.

If I'm spending 4 grand on something, I would at the very least want the pendant to look good.

The only real bad thing about 8 was the storyline and the weird leveling system. I would argue that FF8s first disc is probably one of the strongest of the series. It wasn't until disc 2 that things started going downhill.

I don't know if the Excalibur servers for Ragnarok Online are still functional, but me and my buddy used to have a blast playing that several years ago. Faster leveling, didn't have to pay that ridiculous cost they were charging for the real game, and War on Emperium was actually fun.

For me... I don't lack confidence when I know somebody, my biggest problem is that I have trust issues. Too many times burned in the past. I've had women act all flirty, only for them to turn around when I ask them out and say they already have a boyfriend. Like... that shit really pisses me off.

Had one co-worker help stock shelves a few years ago, it was during valentines day, she looked at the chocolates and said "I wish I had someone to buy me chocolates". Obviously you know what I thought. I didn't say anything as I had been burned before, couple days later she's with her boyfriend of 2 years. I get the need for attention, but at the same time, saying that to the wrong person could end up putting you in a position you don't want to be in.

The compass is just bad... I'm constantly getting lost. Doesn't help that the screen can be rotated so there are chances that you rotate it the wrong way and run in circles.

2FA is great..... depending on the type. I don't want some guy in Russia trying to log in to my account at my company and me not having some sort of protection against that.

amen to that... but working in a toxic environment really does a number on ones head. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with that anymore.

Clockwork Knight. And to answer the question, the Saturn had a ton of games. The reason it did poorly was because it ridiculously overpriced and didn't have a lot of software support.

its not her saying sexism was bad. That's fine. It's that she actually went overboard to the point where half the couch was feeling uncomfortable being there. You can watch the video its on Youtube, where it pans to Jirard the completionist and his eyes tell it all, that he's starting to feel uncomfortable being there.

It went from just mentioning it, to a full 5 minute rant on it, all the while mentioning that Olivia Munn wasn't there to be a sex object to you hungry people, despite Munn specifically being that kind of person. Hell, look at the David Jaffe interview with Olivia Munn, which got so uncomfortable he asked for Morgan Webb to take over the interview.

yeah, 5'10 300 lbs. I was down to 270, but 2 years of isolation combined with constantly studying for college brought my weight up to 290, and then I ended up breaking my right ankle and ripping all the tendons out of my left ankle (went for a walk, and slipped on some loose gravel) caused me to swell up to 316. Thanks to fluid pills I managed to get back to 300ish. I'm more active now but its going to be some time before I see any progress.

No. Last I checked she married some rich guy. Instead we got 2 random females. One was decent for a little while until she went on a tangent about sexism against her, and the other was just there. G4 now is mostly former Austinshow/Rajjchelor collaborators (the dating show on twitch).

I don't know if I'd call them overrated, they have their place in history, but that said, I feel that bands like Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, and Journey influenced my love for music moreso than the Beetles did.

It's the same with Prince. Sure he has his place in history, but I grew up listening to Elvis and Michael Jackson. Yeah, he's a popular singer, but I wouldn't know a single song of his outside the name.

They made some great songs, but most of the time if there was a cover for that song, in the right hands it was almost always better. While my Guitar Gently Weeps may have been written by George Harrison, but it was far better sung by Jeff Healey.

Personally I prefer a short presentation that's more to the point than a bunch of trailers that are just concept art and no gameplay. That's not a shot at Nintendo (I didn't watch the direct), but the games industry and their presentations as a whole. Like if there's nothing substantial to show off than don't bother. There's what I feel like Sony's philosophy is, and that's why they have less of these.

and I would agree with you, but typically Sonys State of Plays are stuff we've already seen before, not even new trailers. Today was the exception.

The problem is that Nintendo holds a direct showcasing 40 games in 45 minutes. Sonys State of Play only shows maybe 5-6 games total in 20. A big disconnect in content coverage, and its a constant issue with Sonys State of Play videos. It wouldn't be so bad if they were more frequent, but they hold them less than Nintendo holds Directs.

I find that they are way too short, and cover far too little. Sonys State of Play covers 4-5 games in 20 minutes while Nintendos Direct today covered 40 games over 45 minutes. And while many of them weren't AAA games, it still managed to showcase more. During the State of Play it could easily be 2 big trailers, 4-5 smaller trailers and a montage spot.

They used really good screenshots. I've played the game so many times and still couldn't figure out what game it was.

I just don't like how modernized some of them have become. They throw in skits rather than speak directly from the texts themselves. I went to a Christmas church gathering a couple years ago, figured it would be a nice night out, sing a few Christmas Carols. But no. It was the god awful modified Christmas songs, and a bunch of "interviews" with religious figures. Can't even enjoy caroling anymore....

well there's only a handful of people who have pissed me off as game devs. Right now, not so much a developer but Bobby Kotick. But Mr. Kickstarter is a close second. I wish the backers sued his ass.

.....that's a store policy not a law, I'm sure some provinces push it, but not mine. You can go into the store and say 20 dollars on pump 5 and pay for gas that way, or at least on the East Coast you can fill up your tank and go inside to pay for gas, as sometimes you'll buy smokes at the same time. Not every place is the same, that's just how they do things in my province.

In Canada there are a lot of gas stations where you can fill up and pay inside.

Then they take your drivers plate I.D and if you don't come back in a reasonable period of time to pay for gas they call the cops on you.

Steve Perry is still alive, how much of his work he actually wrote is questionable though. Tuomas Holopainen from Nightwish is pretty damn good, even if he doesn't sing any of the songs he writes.
