If I was gonna upgrade I would just get 24k gold everything and the chain would be much bigger as would the cross.

That would be really heavy.

Even this chain feels weighted when Im not wearing a shirt (feels fine when Im wearing a shirt for some reason.)

It's not the symbol that bothers me. I'm not Christian, but you do you. The thing that bothers me is that you spent 4 grand on something that can get lost very easily, and to be honest, a similar design could be obtained for far cheaper than you spent on it. No, it wouldn't be 18 carots, but only people who give a damn about carot value would really know the difference.

I had a nice onyx one when I was in my late teens that cost me maybe 40 dollars Canadian. If it were 200 dollars I doubt anyone would have cared, even 1k. It's that you openly said that it cost 4 grand, and to be completely honest, the pendant cross looks like trash.

If I'm spending 4 grand on something, I would at the very least want the pendant to look good.

This for example, is only 10 carots, and looks far better than the picture provided, and outside the tiny chain, costs only 430 CAD.
