$80 is the lowest any store I can find is willing to go. I don't know how much MGS4 is, but I'd expect it'd go for at least $20.

don't go to a store.... check Kijiji, local Facebook groups for games, and Craigslist. Stores are only in it for making a profit. Once you find someone willing to make the sale, go to their house, or they come to yours, and test everything prior to buying it.

I know its a bit more sketchier, but you save a ton of money by paying attention to those pages. Sometimes you'll find a yard sale where someone is selling a ps3 for 20 or 30 bucks.

4: Spirited Away
5: Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone(yeah, everyone has seen this movie by now)

Harry Potter is the only one of those I havent seen lol (havent seen or read any of the harry potters)
But I feel like a LOT of people have seen Monty python and office space, but maybe those are a my generation and older thing because I dont know if youngins would be into them nowadays

Some like the later Harry Potter movies, but I've always been a fan of just the first. Its got such a simple introduction to the series, that is really well done. Not to say that the other movies are bad, they aren't. But just not my cup of tea.

Wait, what is fiber optic TV and why would you want it? Its different from fiber optic internet? Its not like ABC is constantly buffering on your standard cable package. So why would you want fiber optic tv?

Its not a matter of wanting it. Its a matter that it was cheaper to bundle a package than have internet alone, when I needed a hard-line telephone. They had 2 packages, the telephone/internet package was something like 115/M, and the TV package had a promotion where it was something like 117/M, I figure at least I'll get the television for a distraction or for when a girl comes to the house or when I'm eating.

Its your basic satellite package from the 90s. 600 channels, 100 aren't watchable due to being in bundles, 40 or so are the galaxy channels for music, all in all you may get 40 channels of things that you can enjoy, though I'd like to get rid of some of those useless channels, and replace it with better content, at least for me. Its strange it doesn't come with HGTV or Food Network though. Really have to look into that tomorrow when I get a chance to see my isp.

Don't know why it comes with 60 French channels though. Downside of being Canadian.... I guess.

I haven't either, I've had Fiber Op internet for quite a while now, but I keep missing calls on my cell phone, and they won't increase the amount of missed messages past 3(usually those 3 are my family calling me, acting like idiots trying to get me to call them back, when I tell them to just message me on Facebook, as I'll see it more often than hear my phone due to wearing headphones, but I digress).

So we went with a package, Internet, Hardline phone, and tv for 5 dollars more than my current internet setup.

Really wish there wasn't so many filler channels. All I need is about a hundred good channels, but seems that in order for you to get those good channels, you have to pay extra a month and they aren't willing to budge with removing the crap I refuse to watch.

I'm not a huge sports person to begin with, so reducing the sports channels to 1 or 2(from 20)in exchange for the Food Network, HGTV, and HBO would be ideal for someone like myself.

They give you options to spend more money to add to your bundle, but no real option to remove a channel or bunch of channels in favor of something you actually want to watch.

I just got a job at another store giving me at least 30 during training shifts. I hope it continues on.

UPDATE: even before I managed to post the message, found out their servers got DDOS'ed. Maybe they will hopefully do a full server refresh to clear everything up. Maybe they will finally take the time out to stop having Sydney and Singapore as part of the American Servers, instead of placing them with the Asian servers.

Just to clear something up, they don't let people go when installing self checkouts. They train one of their existing staff on the self checkouts and the other staff member just gets their regular hours.

benefits of self checkouts outweigh the negatives. Less congestion on the main registers, faster service and overall happier employees. Not to say it solves all problems, it doesn't and shouldn't expect to, but it gives a sense of trust to the person/people trained on said machines, making them feel happier overall and something new to put on a resume.

I'll put this discussion a different way. I think that minimum wage jobs should have some sort of training for those working in it. That way you'll always have progression. New hires get that option after being there for a year. After a year they get trained as a supervisor. The then supervisors get trained on as head supervisors, head supervisors get trained in asst. management, and asst. management get trained on as managers.

With that progression system you will always have new people coming on and more people will be able to attain liveable wages through experience.

Sure you will have your share of leavers, but of the say 4 new hires on, at least one of them will become a supervisor, and you will have the option of making liveable wages.

For me it would go the route of a martial arts belt. With some forms of martial arts(I take TKD as an example) you don't just get your yellow, green, blue, red or black belts, you have to work for it.

Something like 1 year(supervisor), 2 years(as supervisor to be head supervisor), 4 years(as head supervisor to be asst. manager), 8 years(as asst. manager to be manager). And branching off of that, by that time the management assuming they started when they were 18 years old, will be around 33 and can branch off to franchise owner, running their own company, or having working knowledge to fill holes in other companies.

Now obviously the example above would be for something like a Mcdonalds, or Wal-Mart. But with those of us taking courses at the same time, those companies can work with colleges or universities to give credit, thus lowering the workload in our education.

Not only that, but it would give many of us the option to both grow up mentally, and learn numerous skills that would benefit us in the long run, like budgeting, taxes, management skills and more importantly vocal and organisational skills which many of us lack, myself included.

You would never have to worry about money if you got the proper training to better yourself. With a regular worker making 11-12 dollars an hour and each position higher making either more money or given more hours, you would naturally start making at least liveable wages.

By no means is this an excuse to not get an education or stay in the lower fields, but you could easily end most forms of poverty in our particular countries if this system was in place, and at the same time give some sort of semblance to a progressing country instead of one where nearly a quarter are homeless or barely able to afford minimum wage.

There was a thing long ago where when you became 18 years old you had to enlist in the military. I'd do the same, but just with minimum wage jobs. Force your 18 year olds to gain the social skills and give them ever increasing hours, to the point where after a year they are working the 40-50 hour work weeks, with scheduled regular breaks, not all over the place schedules. If you are scheduled to work that is your schedule not just for the week, but every week barring holidays, maintenance and breaks.

If your son/daughter has graduated high school they don't immediately go into college. They need to work at least a year before attending an education facility. Round out the edges so to speak.

If you are scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 10-5, that's your schedule and it won't change until you "rank up" so to speak, to supervisor, or whatever that position will be. Gives people the option to get back on a regular sleep schedule as well. If your working mornings thats your deal. If your working nights, same deal. There are options to switch shifts, but order and structure will help in the long run.

I seem to have started blabbering on and blabbering on. But I think you get my points. Maybe its the ADD meds I have been taking, but my points are far more focused than before.

Provide a system where people can better themselves.

Pretty much any anime that made it to the big 10 has a lot of monologue to it with people explaining way too much.

Bear with me, I've had a bad couple weeks and need to destress....

Work cut hours from 30 hours a week to 5-10. Finally got accepted to college, but can't get funding for my college because I'm taking distance learning courses instead of going to the actual classroom, meaning I have to pay out of pocket. I have a mortgage and bills to pay. To top it all off, no place around me is hiring, and if they are, they won't hire me because "I've been trouble at work, all because I'm complaining to management that I'm not getting any hours, and that I would like to work more if possible".

fml. Half tempted to set up a go-fund me see if my family is willing to help with some of the bills. Because at this point I have no idea how I'm going to survive. I might have to sell my house, and even that might not get me through the rest of my school year.

As someone who has worked retail the past 6 years, I can tell you that the worst part of working retail is management. Any small thing that happens they will hold it against you.

It's never the customers. Sure you may get a bad apple here and there, but that's all it is, here and there. Management/Supervisors usually involves some idiot who watches you work for 2 minutes out of a year and gives you shit for any minor problems you are having for the rest of your time there. Take stock. I worked stock for about 2 months and it was arguably the worst time I've had in retail. 4 different bosses telling me to do things 4 different ways, and then blaming me when I wasn't able to do it "properly", while threatening my job.

On the other side, of the 2 jobs in retail I've had, its been so ass backwards for both jobs. The first was great. Help you out when you needed help.

My current job however.... is the exact opposite. We lose money because of store policies, barely get any hours(seriously, I'm working 5 this week), and the management are idiots who don't know how to run a business. No one is on customer service ever, we aren't allowed to look up the prices of things, just agree with what the customer prices it(which is so stupid, too stupid to talk about), and if you show up on time to your shift you get yelled at, because "you should have been here 5 minutes ago to relieve such and such". To which I respond "then you should have scheduled me for 5 minutes ago"(yes, I have an attitude. I'm done taking shit from people who will never get beyond the point of retail. I treat them fairly, but I'm not taking any lip from them)

No one gets to talk about Reruns until they talk about DBZ. DBZ was the worst for reruns up here in Canada. We would get to the Frieza arc, and as soon as they would introduce Frieza, they would go back to the start of the show and start all over again. They did this 3 or 4 times before finally finishing Namek, and continuing on to the Cell Saga, after which it was stopped for a little while, until we finally got to see most of the Buu saga. Still say Buu was voiced better in the Ocean Dub. Hell, Ocean dub did just as many good voices as Funimation did.

If he stopped the war with North Korea, then he will be elected once again.

Which is fucking ridiculous because it was Trump that escalated the chances of war to begin with.

Na, as much as Trump is an asshole, ties with North Korea have been strained for a very long time. People don't seem to realise that history repeats itself, and that this has happened in the past either with the Clinton administration or the Bush Administration(Sr., not Jr.). N. Korea threatens the U.S, then talks about disarming their nukes, then makes a deal with the U.S or another country for more money and then repeats itself.

Well your country has to deal with Trump for 2 more years. Less if that vote to remove him from power comes in to play.

But I said this 2 years ago, and I stand by it. If Trump does 1 thing, just 1 thing good he will get elected for another 4 years in 2020. If he stopped the war with North Korea, then he will be elected once again.

What sucks is that you have to digitally pre-order BO4 on PS4 to get the classic map packs. I don't have 90 dollars just lying around(yes, that's how much it costs).

What's even more fucked up, is that Walmart Canada is advertising it for 50 bucks plus tax, nope, instead they want us to pay 90 dollars for a digital copy of the game, and a map pack.
