Honestly, maybe it's time to let it go? If CE itself is gone I think the community should dissolve. Some things just aren't meant to last forever. And I think any successor board/Discord is going to be short-lived anyway.

Forgot about this alt because I hadn't used it in years. Remembered it a little bit ago, decided to come back as a regular user. Site is way more enjoyable as one.

I was a mod too but I dont recall interacting with you. The mod staff really is a solid bunch though. Ive wondered how it is modding under Fandom administration but Im done with it for good at this point.

You would do more good by just buying out Fandom and shutting down all their shitty wikis.

Id like to thank you for letting me have the opportunity to be a mod a few years back (or at least OKing my selection). It was interesting to be able to perform the role and give back to the site, and it feels like I became a small little part of GameFAQs history.

Honestly, ever since the Politics board closing I was thinking Fandom would straight up close CE. And maybe all boards except the game ones. I guess this could still happen. We tried to make things work for the community, but the issues with CE being non-inclusive and toxic still continue. Weve made the difficult decision to close the board.

Ive been on GameFAQs in at least some capacity since 2002 or 2003. CE I remember starting to browse/post on in late high school or early college years (so around 2008) and Ive been here since.

Ive always considered GameFAQs (and to a lesser extent CE specifically) to be my Internet home.

I live in the (western) US, so I've only used trains when abroad. I took the "chunnel" from London to Paris and back once way back in 2008, and a couple of years ago I took the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto and back.

I'm not counting smaller trolley/metro systems.

It's one of the most inoffensive things you could possibly eat, honestly. Not sure how a Big Mac could possibly make you sick.

I guess never try eating spicy Indian or Asian food because that would straight up probably kill you.

I know the general trend in internet communities from what Ive seen is sympathy for the homeless but the ones around me (and by around me, I mean like my whole state) are aggressive, accost you and overall act in an a threatening manner. Just makes you want to avoid them at all costs.

Nerds actually liked CoD for a while when it still wasnt as big. I remember the series getting nothing but praise around the CoD2/CoD4 era. I think it was around when the original MW2 came out that it started getting a little more hated on, then it just built from there.

I have weird ass dreams every night. I dont really remember it super clearly now that its the next night but last nights was pretty vivid. I remember being with a friend of mine that I havent seen lately but whos been on my mind. We were like vampires with wings and we were flying around at night.

But then the perspective switched and it was me and said friend watching the above as a movie at night in my parents house and we were never the vampires ourselves and they were characters in the movie.

Dont worry about times between responses, it really doesnt matter. What I would pay more attention to is if theres a back and forth. Does she ever initiate conversations or is it always you? Are her replies furthering the conversation or are they short and terse (just lols or just emojis that give you nothing to work with to keep talking)?

If you notice that both youre the only one initiating and that her replies are mostly dry, you might be wasting your time. Definitely stop texting her, put it in her court and see if she ever hits you up.

If she never initiates but really engages in actual conversation when you do its still a good thing. If you have her start initiating its a great sign shes open to at least a real friendship, but its not a requirement.

When I was over there I noticed at least some of the monthly/weekly manga anthology magazines had sexy (3D) women on the front covers that didn't appear to have anything to do with any of the manga running in said magazines.
