The weak comparison of an eating disorder and gender identity kind of show why they don't belong in the same category don't you think?

Also gender variation has existed as long as people have been around. Ancient cultures show proof of this. So it is natural and part of the human experience. Not every gender variant requires medically intervention either.

Or...and hear me out...A better understanding for it has grown out of research.

I mean 50 years ago a husband could take his wife to an asylum and have her institutionalized for disobeying and not performing "wifely duties". Homosexuality also used to be considered a mental disorder. Let's not pretend medicine doesn't advance on it's own out of better understanding, nothing political about it.

Gender does develop pretty early. The kid can tell you when they have the words to express it.

I understand your disapproval of young women entering BSoA, and I am in no way going to defend the organization at all. They are entirely reactionary to bad PR and have a track record of problematic behavior as you said. I whole heartily agree that they are doing this for self gain.

However, I do feel like integration of genders is an important issue. Having integrated spaces early on can start teaching children how to function together.
Teach boys about bodily autonomy and consensual touches, to stop sexualizing and respect women as people. To the girls, teach them to speak up when interrupted, to not allow boys to make them feel less. Having them learn these together would better benefit the parties into adulthood don't you think?

Again, I'm incredibly sceptical Boy Scouts is the organization to accomplish this. Girl Scouts does not seem to have integration on their priorities either.

Zang - That's a great attitude to have for work. Maybe a bath with some episome salt would help? Or a backrub from your darling wife of you ask nicely?

Winter - that sounds like a lot to deal with for sure. Hopefully they find something. Knowing what is the cause is can help. Make sure you take it easy and know you are doing what you can to treat it sweety.

Winter - navigating medical stuff can definitely be a hassle. Hopefully there is an opening tomorrow. I've also been successful with online receiving of results. Though that may not be available, or an additional consult may be necessary depending on your results...idk. Either way, I hope you receive the results soon, and that they are good results.

- I agree whole heartily with you regarding DD. Miller did a great job to help establish the character and definitely had a great run. Bendis took that and fleshed out every aspect, and in my opinion made DD a much deeper character as a result.

Both are fluid, or can be. Some people are fixed, some flexible, some with lots, some with none at all.

international women's day includes the US.
