I have had probably about 8 colonoscopies in my life.

It doesn't get bad per se, but it's really repetitive into Season 7 and Season 8, the bottle episodes don't help. Seasons 5-6 are some of the best material we get for the show outside of Season 1, so I don't know why people are shitting on those seasons. Season 7 and 8 are absolutely boring and trash. Season 9 and 10 have been relatively good so far, especially since the show shifted to a new showrunner.

I honestly think the people bashing it haven't even watched the f'n show, lol. Maybe an episode here and there. Korra was fantastic. Maybe not when it was week to week, but now when you can just binge it, yeah, it's awesome, imo

I always point out that Korra showed character development in about 4 episodes of the first season alone. She goes from, "I can do anything I want because I'm the Avatar" to "Holy shit, Amon could wreck my shit and I'm absolutely terrified." I've said this before and I'll say it again.

The writers took a girl whose entire life was built around the vision of being the Avatar and presented her to a world that shit on that vision. All of her villains were twisted interpretations of core aspects of the Avatar duties. They challenged her in unique ways and broke her down. And they have a lasting effect on her as seen in one of my favorite character driven episodes of all time, "Korra Alone". EoS Korra is drastically different from BoS Korra.

It's crazy how people complain about Korra, yet, seem to get amnesia when it comes to Aang being whiny and bitchy for about 45% of series. Yeah, he had some serious character growth but so did Korra.
