I am utter shit at Skyrim, but I still find it to be a lot of fun as a game because it lets you dick around to your heart's content. I have fun just going around the map and seeing what's out there (... and dying horribly because the Forsaken really don't like people who aren't Forsaken).

My vote goes to Steak 'n' Shake. I enjoy the food, but the location nearest to me is one of the slowest restaurants I have visited, and, after all these years, the speed has not improved.

I have TWEWY around here, but I have never played it at length because Nomura. I probably need to get over that and just enjoy it, but the game is very Nomura. :-|

I did not notice any fundamental changes to the Kingdom Hearts remasters, to be honest. (As opposed to, say, the remastered Crash Bandicoot trilogy, which handles very differently, though not at first glance.)

Indiegala has another anime-themed bundle up. Almost feels like they are in the habit of doing that every month or so. *headscratch* Only one repeat for me in this batch, and that is Ecchi Sketch, so it is not too bad a deal.

Also noticed that there is yet another Aksys Games release for Vita, and that is another otome VN, this one called Bad Apple Wars. The Vita never dies completely. (See also: Drive Girls and God Wars, plus Demon Gaze II.)

I am not faulting the game play. That works beautifully. I am faulting the writing and the aforementioned spoiler. It feels like Enix intended to kill off the series, but then made a zombie of it after the Square Enix merger. EDIT -- To be fair, I do have a strong bias in play here. SO2 is my all-time favorite PS1 RPG, and every Star Ocean game released after that has felt like a slap in the face.

I voted for dialogue because that, IMO, encapsulates writing. Writing is all of what is wrong in the prequels, as far as I am concerned.

My justification for not picking Integrity & Faithlessness as the worst in the Star Ocean series is that, in order for a game to be the worst, it must first be complete, which that game is not. But yes, SO3 more or less ruined the series, IMO, and the games that have followed it have not helped.

Meanwhile, Book II of FE Heroes is good stuff. I guess Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have been putting the $100,000,000 U.S. they earned from Book I to good use on the new content. (Not exaggerating on that dollar amount, BTW. FE Heroes makes bank.)

I have researched this (via Google, Reddit, Steam, etc.), and ... no, there is no patch. Not only that, but the Steam discussion board for the game is locked down. Looks like Sekai Project is determined to get people to buy the adult version from Denpasoft. Or pirate it. That seems to be a popular choice, too. Granted, I like Sekai Project, and I have the legit version of the All Ages game, but this feels a little heavy-handed when so many devs hand out adult patches like Halloween candy.

Going to have to agree. I enjoy P1 (... on PSP; I find the PS1 version almost unplayable, these days), but I have a soft spot for brutal, old-school first-person dungeon crawls, and Atlus does those very well (see: Etrian Odyssey).
