Ain't no one run has run out of ki to such an extent that they become so vulnerable, unless it's their big, final, all-or-nothing attack. If it goes to attrition, they'd lose, but it's unlikely the scaling matches so evenly that this happens.

What feat, the lightspeed thing? They've been breaking that for a long, long time. Kid Goku was dodging lightning and lasers, and since then, there's been a conga line of people so fast that other people cannot react or even perceive their speed, and then the same thing happening to those fast people, and so on.

Vegeta, in his introduction, is a planet buster, and his strongest attack wouldn't even register on any of the top tier fighters in DBS. Hell, base Frieza was a planet buster too, over 25x stronger than Vegeta, and nothing he could do at his original final form would register. Cell was several times stronger than Frieza, and so forth. Buu might be able to do some minor damage, but everyone below that could easily nuke any planet, and their strongest attack would still be no-sold by the DBS endgame. DB ki attacks don't inherently scale size and strength in proportion, either, mostly because AT couldn't figure out how to make it make sense, and so he just kind of ignored it in order for them not to blow up the planet constantly.

tl;dr planet busting attacks aren't even the minimum for registering as a threat. The real threat is in hitting the actual planet, because they still need to breathe.

This alone suggests it so that if by any chance they can tank or dodge a strong ki blast, they'll literally just run through Saiyans, who are vulnerable to bullets.

Kid Goku tanked a surprise sniper round to the face. It hurt, but it didn't even slow him down. Goku in DBS took a scratch from a bullet, but he was deliberately lowering his power at the time, so as to not totally obliterate the normies harassing him.

Like the entire program was secret for a very long time and ONI slowly leaked details about just their very existence (as already MJOLNIR clad supersoldiers) but now I can't really recall if the kidnapping and deception ever became public knowledge in the lore. It has to have been well past the events of the first 3 games if so.

Doubt it. Unless some books came out that I'm not aware of, none of the extended lore has explored the notion, and there's no room in the games for this to be even a minor plot point.

All that stuff is wriggly and makes noise, not too far from insects. Legos don't change shape, or make much noise.

In hindsight, the original justification for Spartans is fucking bonkers.

I can't think of anything, which is kinda disappointing.

Was he? Vegeta called himself elite, and seemed to think Raditz was trash.

There's also Roshi destroying the Moon, which would've been easy for Raditz.

Tough call. Goku didn't actually get that many lifting scenes by the time we see Gohan, but speed works differently in Dragonball. Friction, aerodynamics, momentum and such don't really affect things in DB like they do in Invincible, which is why you can get afterimage dodges and *teleports behind you* shenanigans.

I was trying to figure out a devil's advocate, like not being able to afford all the chickens killed, but... If you can afford a hunting dog, a firearm, and the ammo for that firearm, you can afford to reimburse those lost chickens. Poultry is quite cheap.

Well, in any case, I hate how they're usually underpowered anyway.

It's partially a case of trying to balance out weapons in games that give you options, and the sword just... looking cooler and getting all the glory in mythos. Swords originated from knives just getting longer and longer, and, being almost entirely one vast blade, were also very expensive. Swords have practicality to them, sure, but being a long, expensive version of a common thing, they were almost certainly as much of a status flex as they were born of utility.

Is there some precedent for cutting the line with people still on it? This is either some kind of obscure maritime thing or hilariously evil.

Spears aren't really designed for one-on-one ground combat, they're to combat cavalry. Tho every weapon in a game should be viable in some way

Spears are the first melee weapon, and overall they're the best melee weapon.

Even if the screens go off well before bed its a struggle. I can take a shower, have a cool but not cold room, drink a bit of soothing tea but not too much, had a perfect stress free day, be snuggled up with a body pillow like plush and have quiet and still take 30+ to fall asleep or randomly 2+ hours. I often wake once sometimes 2-3+ times in the night.

I feel you fam. Peeps don't get that the typical stuff just doesn't work for ADHD. The military even prefaces some of their methods, like the sleep trick, by saying that they won't work if you have ADHD.
