Here in Australia I rarely see an obese person in scooters. I do see them but almost every time you see a scooter its an elderly or disabled person.

Honestly, I don't even see them every time. I think that's more of a southern/midwest sort of thing.

In STL I see them pretty regularly when I go shopping. Don't shop at walmart but at the local Schnucks here I typically see one or two.

Depressingly common

Definitely a southern Midwest thing. It's so hot out most of the year people don't exercise much, stay inside watch TV, eat bbq and roll around stores on their scooters.

Most of the people I see using them are just disabled.

And sometimes they're just lazy folks that know no one's gonna say shit

I almost never see fat people on scooters in Walmart but that's because I've only been in Walmart like 6 times in my entire life, so its not common for me to see anyone or anything there ever.

That said, I do see many overweight people almost everywhere I go. Most of them aren't on mobility scooters though.

In Texas you go to Walmart or HEB, you will almost always see one or two heavy set persons riding around.

Depends on which Wal-Mart you're in.

I've seen more of them when I traveled for work to Arkansas, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

Non-existent ever since the motorscooter uprising of the late 00's.

The motorscooters are in control now, and they're sure as hell not letting us lowly humans ride them.

I live in Southern California. Id say I see like one every ten visits or so.
