A few months back I was at the grocery store and a customer got mad that another customer didn't have on a mask so he just started randomly yelling at the first employee he saw.

It's not a relatable problem but it is a problem. For example, lets say your kid has a drug problem, do really think leaving them a bunch of money would be in their best interests? I'm gonna think no.

It's odd because most of the YouTube reviewers I trust(like ACG, MrMattyPlays, Cr1TiKaL , Easy Allies) tended to give it rather average reviews. It's only like the big name sites that were like "OMG!! 10/10! Best Arkane game EVER!!!". Which is abnormal because normally super polished and hyped games get universal praise. You don't really see games get a 10/10 one place and a 7/10 somewhere else. Strange.

In this scenario she could have left him at the campsite. I believe the other two women were murdered at or near the campsite. You can't force someone to come with you. If she broke up and left then there's not much you can do. Another example is if she met someone else at the campsite and bailed with him. "We're through. If the scenario where a girl dumps you to be with another guy(or not) you wouldn't go to the cops because in that scenario she didn't get lost in the first place. And you wouldn't go to a lawyer in those scenarios either. So those are just like completely different situations. And they both fall apart when you remember that he had her van. So she broke up with him and let him take her van while she was stuck without a ride? Seems....unlikely.

Scenario: She broke up with you in a large fight and just straight up left. You went home and after a week still nobody heard from her. You start thinking that either she died from exposure or got killed by the murderer from the campground you were both at. Suddenly there's three bodies that the police have got to solve and you're the only name they've got. You better sure as fuck lawyer up.

Because you left her to die in the wilderness and it's your fault she's dead. In a scenario where you're out camping with someone, be it friend or family or wife or whatever, and you get in a fight you don't just fucking bounce and leave them in the wilderness or ignore that they never came back. What kind of psycho would do that?

Im not gonna say that you should always have a lawyer present or whatever but this is just a painfully naive question. Do you know how many people are wrongly convicted every year?

The fact is that its true that talking to police at all is a bad idea for your own self-interests, and a lawyer who is legally obligated to protect your interests is going to advise against you talking to the police for any reason. For most people, their desire to find their loved one is going to outweigh their sense of self-preservation and they are going to talk the the police anyway.

My comment was in direct relation to someone getting lost in the woods and not some sort of general "never be afraid of the police if you didn't anything wrong" statement. Yes, people do get falsely convicted all the time and there are certainly times where you don't want to talk to police, but when comes to someone getting lost in the woods it's absurdly paranoid and self-serving to even think about that tbqh. And it doesn't really even work when it comes to keeping the cops off you because if she did indeed just get lost, reporting it right away would have been way less suspicious then what he actually did.

And talking to them would vastly increase the chances of your girlfriend being found. That's an absurd stance. My sister was raped when she was 11. Talked to the cops. Cops found the rapist and locked him up. The point is, there are plenty of scenarios where it's beneficial to talk to the cops. Like if your girlfriend gets lost in the woods and you need help finding her...

They are rather small influencers. Like 200k on Instagram. The story mostly went viral due to how weird it is and the big outlets picked up the story because it was so viral. Remember, Chris Chan made national headlines not too long ago. We live in an age where CNN and Fox News copy reddit for stories.

Choosing to have sex is a personal decision which remains local. Nudes can be saved and spread. One reason, I think, is to make our internet laws more compatible with other nations - make it easier to target pedo rings.

I get what you're saying but I don't buy it. If you think a person is old enough to consent to having sex, then that same person should be old enough to consent to sending nudes. They should just raise the age of consent. Don't know why they'd have it at 15 in the first place.

I don't think there's any real conspiracy behind the 10s or anything but given what the game is I do find it a bit odd. You tend to think 10s are groundbreaking games with few issues but this is literally just Dishonored with a slightly different gimmick. Not groundbreaking at all. I enjoyed the Dishonored games but they do have many issues and from what I've heard and seen this game has most of those issues as well. But I haven't played it myself though so maybe I'm wrong.

Not if the cops couldn't find them. The girl said they exchanged pictures but there was never anything said about him having CP so I'm assuming he deleted them or hid them somewhere the cops didn't find.

There has to be something else involved in all this that we aren't being told about. Because you dont get only an attempted child endangerment charge with only up to two years for sexting a minor, trading nudes with a minor, and forcing a minor to give you oral sex. That alone gets you more then two years for one count let alone two. I can take a pretty good guess as to why, but there's no way to know for sure.

Doesn't seem complicated to me. He probably had a really good lawyer and there was probably no evidence other then the texts so he made a deal to plead guilty to those.

The guy is an idiot but it's bad that we've reached a point in the US where attacking protestors is normal. Be it people like him or BLM protestors or whatever. The one who allegedly had some type of involvement with a 15 year old I think it was. Though no one actually knows what because the charge was something vague like indecency with a minor or along those lines, which could be anything from dirty talk over texts to showing porn to exposing yourself or even none sex related like giving a minor alcohol.

For whatever reason they never announced, that I saw anyway, what exactly it is they are claiming he did. So naturally people are all assuming he is a child molester even though it's possible he never touched her.

According the the NYT the charges were indeed over texts of a sexual nature with a 15 year old.

Seasons 2-5 of Supernatural was the best thing ever on the CW. I'd say seasons 2-4 of the Vampire Diaries is the second best. Though both shows dropped a lot in quality as time went on. As for Smallville, I liked Smallville. Especially the first few seasons. But it was never really a super high quality show in my eyes. Even by the standards of its time.

It really is. If he did it, then yes. If he didn't do it, then yes. A lot of police just want to quickly close cases without finding out the details. Might be a horrible thing to do, but it's not against any law if he left her high and dry somewhere after a break up. Well depending on the situation, which is why he did the right thing with the lawyer. Always get a lawyer, imo

I get what you're saying about going to lawyers first if you're in a sticky situation but not here dude. Let's say she got lost: In that situation you don't abandon her and go to lawyers, you go and get help. Even if she dies somehow accidentally, it's smart to see a lawyer just in case they try and pin it on you but only after you called the authorities and reported that she died. You don't just fucking bounce and leave the state and refuse to say anything. This dude is sus beyond belief and this poor girl is almost certainly dead.

There's a difference between having sympathy and cheering. Not having sympathy when people you don't know die is hardly abnormal. People generally won't get sad over death unless there's a personal connection involved. Again, there's nothing wrong with that. Cheering for the death of others however is very abnormal and is frankly rather deranged. I've never cheered for anyone's death in my entire life and I'm not some paragon of virtue. I saw that when it first came out and that really shows how disturbing this shit is. Some people on Gamefaqs or Twitter gloating about covid deaths is to be expected.
