I think American Dad is significantly UNDERRATED. If Inside Job counts as an adult animated sitcom then that's pretty great too. Y'all are really sleeping on that one. Maybe I'll nominate it next year.

I'm more excited about a top five anime toppling a mid but exceedingly overrated adult sitcom. Now I'm glad Arcane lost to it (though really it shouldn't have. Arcane is phenomenal). Day 25 is definitely my favorite round of this tournament so far.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed Pearl more than X. Yes X leans more heavily into the horror, but the drama and suspense set up in Pearl is topnotch. There's one scene in the middle that is reminiscent of Toni Collette's rant about trying to keep her family together in Hereditary and both of those performances are Oscar worthy imo. X is the superior horror, but as far as the better film as a whole I've gotta give it to the prequel. I can't wait for the thrilling conclusion. It would be amazing if the entire trilogy was released in one year, but I know that's way too much to hope for. I'm surprised we even got two in the same year. Mia Goth must be tired from filming those back to back.

This is exactly how I feel about Ed, Edd, and Eddy. I liked watching it when I think back on it every character side from Double D and Naz are obnoxious. I know that's entirely the point, but I don't know if I'd be able to stomach watching it for any amount of time now.

So what I'm getting from that result is that only six people on Board 8 have watched Helluva Boss.

I feel bad for Young Justice mostly because I really liked it, but I never managed to finish it. Also because it got matched up against possibly the best miniseries Cartoon Network has ever put out to date which also gets an efficacy boost because of what time of year it is (perfect time of year to watch OtGW if you've never seen it or want to see it again).

If I had remembered to come back I would've most likely voted for Brotherhood and unknowingly made it even closer, but it was just way too hard to decide when I saw the round before and I can't say I'd be mad with either result.

I really should've had this in 4. I guess this is my daily reminder that I need to watch My Hero Academia. The sad part is I even thought about the word on my third guess briefly, but I couldn't think of how to spell it so I moved R to the front instead so if I had been more patient I could've even had it in three.

Unfortunately the animation I was the most invested in was the one that lost. Poor Bojack... I thought his show was more well-known and/or well-liked around these parts. Don't get me wrong I like Paranoia Agent too, but Bojack is... extremely important in the world of adult animation to say the least.

Yes it does get difficult to watch at some points and watching the main character's downward spiral due to his own terrible decision-making skills is unevenly uncomfortable, but the show says a lot of things a lot of people should hear at some point in their life about accountability, responsibility, depression, anxiety, self- identity, and oh my gosh I'm droning on and on. If you haven't seen it please just watch Bojack Horseman.

Some of those are cute whole others are strange. I can't say I like the double eared ones, but I agree the armadillo headbands are a nice interpretation. The last one you posted is my favorite too, but the first one would be my favorite without the blasted second pair of ears.

FG reaches some higher highs from an entertainment standpoint alone, but man it lacks the heart of FiM; that became especially true the longer it went on when compared to the ponies.

He's the only one with FF7 in his handle though! Hence my running joke from two contests ago that he should change his handle to MartinFF7CC. He might not have put them down intentionally, but I distinctly recall him saving Cissnei over one or both of Cloud/Seph in a bottom ten scenario and that resulting in one or both of them being eliminated at some point.

Obviously that's not solely on him as no one else made the right choice there, myself included, but all I'm saying is that his image made no sense because he absolutely DID have the freedom to support a fairly fringe character. It's just others will see right through it and refuse to pick up your slack if you do that. The key is to not care what anyone thinks and push Isaaru or Ghido or Cissnei without giving a flying poop where your actual favorites finish.

Almost wasted a guess with that second one because I hadn't noticed I was putting a vowel in the same spot, but at least I got one new letter out of it.

Smile was far, FAR better than expected. Really effective jump scares that aren't typical or predictable. Hubby and I got GOT by two each- and when I say we got GOT I mean both of us audibly screamed or shrieked at one and physically flinched at another. I can't even remember the last time I shrieked aloud in a theater at a horror movie, and I can't believe that now it's going to be for a movie I thought was going to be comparable to that stupid Truth or Dare Blumhouse schlock because of the cheesy snapchat creepy smile filters. In reality despite a similar gimmick Smile has less to do with that dumpster fire of a movie and takes more inspiration from It and It Follows and I highly recommend experiencing it while it's in theaters.
