NGL both of these kinda suck. Gen I suffers from WAY too much Poison bloat and for the premier run of the Fairy typing the selection is ass aside from two Mega evolutions and two original pokmon. Gun to my head, I've gotta go with the first option because VI doesn't have anything as good as Nidoking or Haunter.

Gen 2 dark is all high tier pokemon for the most part. Doesn't deserve to lose to a large cunk of mediocre/bad fire types.

Pignite and the Sears are the only ones I would call mediocre/bad. Everything else ranges from decent to TOP TIER. I think it's on par with II's Dark mons, and while I could have went either way I found myself drawn more to V's Fire. Perhaps it was the literal spirit of victory that led me to tip the scales in V's favor.

Where's the Water option? I feel like Water/Dragon would best suit my type so I picked the third to last one. Dragenair some things never change; but, sadly other things DO, like the fact that my week long vacation in Maine is just about ended and I'll have to head back to work in a few days just to financially recover from all the fun I've had. At least my sleep schedule should return to form. I'm tired of waking up before the sun. By the way did any of you see that vibrating Pikmin figurine? Dafuq were they thinking!?

It's close, but I gotta hand it to the simplicity of Gen I's Electric selection.

He's my least favorite of the Warner siblings by a country mile, but still I'd say yes

I really thought for a moment I was gonna come up empty twice a second day in a row.

II and III give it the old college try, but this is one time where it's appropriate to be a Genwunner. It really does have the classic lineup with no filler or fluff, a lot of strong contenders and nothing really offensive. II has more of my all-time favorites and III has my second favorite starter line from basic to final evolution, but they both also have entire lines I just don't care for to hold them back. I has no such detriment so it's gotta be Gen I. As a side note I feel bad for V here. It has Dewott and it doesn't even get a real spot in the poll. ;(

If only I hadn't got in my own head and played cautiously I would've had it in 3.

Easiest vote for V ever. No weaknesses. You've got cute ass Dwebble line two great fossil lines, Gigalith line is unique and cool looking especially in shiny palette, and while Terra is my least favorite of the musketeers they're one of my favorite Legendary groupings outside of Beasts and Birds. III has my favorite Rock type, but there's too much meh to distract from mother fucking Aggron so too bad for it.

Yeah I know it's been a while, but I had to brag about this one.

Well as much as I hate to be a Genwunner... naw I wins pretty comfortably here. Every other generation has a pretty even split of pokmon I love and pokmon I loathe for this type

Damn, y'all are sleeping on Gen III... V is a solid choice though.

I briefly toyed with the idea of casting my ballot for VIII despite the hideous genie holding it back because I mean look at that lineup, but then I realized Gen VI has literally no weaknesses. None. Everyone solid. I, II, and IV, have some heavy hitters for sure, but also a lot of unnecessary or repetitive bloat.

I was torn between I and V so I'm glad to see those are the only two in contention really. I went with V because even though I has my absolute favorite V has so many more high quality contenders
