episode was terrible

they hyped up vegeta getting a new power but it didnt happen until the very end of the episode and we didn't get to see him actually do anything cool afterwards. on top of that the animation was AWFUL and they wasted way too much time having the benched characters talk.

I've played Chrono Trigger, FF4, Secret of Mana, Legend of Zelda games and FF6.

illusion of gaia
terranigma
seiken densetsu 3
super mario rpg

all great games from that era. ffv is probably the easiest to get lost into. has a job system and gives a greater sense of adventure than almost anything on snes.

stuff past that era:

breath of fire iii and ff ix

dragon quest iv (ds), v(ds or ps2), and viii

bravely default (though be warned the pacing completely falls apart in chapter 5)

Reminder that "mystic" Gohan is just a dumb thing fans made up so that their favorite self-insert character could stay relevant and it is never called that in the anime or manga.

the term "mystic" is just used to refer to the version of gohan that has his potential unlocked by old kai. not sure why you're butthurt about it.
