And it sounds like wary content creators for the most part wont be leaving OF altogether. Instead many will simply be putting their content on multiple platforms, rather than only OF. If those alternate platforms fail to perform financially on the same level as OF then I'm doubtful a mass exodus will occur. It's like how Mixer was just "the other platform" compared to twitch/youtube until it eventually got pulled. Those other platforms will need to prove themselves as a legitimate competitor. --- |

With groceries I have a ballpark and I'll speak up if I end up an unusual amount over. This might happen if the cashier punches in the wrong item code on a bulk item that is being weighed such as ringing up 5 lbs of peanuts as 5 lbs of cashews which would cost over 3x as much. If my total is a bit low I'll chalk it up to good fortune and say nothing. The very last reason I would ever want to hold up a checkout line at a grocery store would be to ask them to charge me more money. --- |

It seems like a ton of research goes into each video to collect the chapters of information from either those who were involved first hand or who were close enough to the scene to provide reliable information. Yeah the actual record progression itself follows a fairly predictable blueprint, but it paints a picture that otherwise would not exist. Even the people the video is about won't have the full picture, only their personal experiences for their contribution of the canvas. --- |

All you really need to know going in is that Ryan Reynolds is playing an NPC in an online game (that looks like it would be based on GTA or Just Cause) and he starts to develop self awareness. Obviously they aren't going to get the gaming elements exactly right, but they got them right enough that as someone who is experienced with games I wasn't cringing the whole movie like I feared I might. very funny with good action, would watch again. --- |
