For Genesis-era fas and below, yeah I can see why they'd be disappointed. When people pressure Sega to bring PSO 2 to the West, I've seen comments like "Screw that, make Phantasy Star IV" lol.
For Dreamcast and above it's a bit better, with Shenmue 3 finally being developed and Virtua Fighter chars in DOA.
I really fucking want PSO 2 tho. Maybe I should really give up and just play the english patch.

I know the feeling. Sometimes music is the only thing that can help because can't concentrate on video games and can't follow a movie/TV show.
Here are some downer songs I'll listen to when I'm suffering from anxiety/depression:

Stabbing Westward - So Wrong. This band is always good for any downer songs. Isolation, loneliness, heartbreak, you name it. This one in particular is about coping with being heartbroken and not being able to get over someone you care about. Their first 3 albums, Ungod, wither blister burn and peel, and Darkest Days are all top of my list when feeling down


T.A.T.U - Show me Love. Song about being clingy and overly attached. I own the 10th anniversary album and there's an even more mellow version of this song on it. Their second album also have very sad music too. I'd recommend both of them. It kinda makes sense that a Russian group would have depressing music.


Alone - The Dreaming. The lead singer of Stabbing Westward formed this band later. I'd put it close to Stabbing Westward.


I'll put one Japanese song from an anime too, because it's helped me when feeling sad. "Come" by Namie Amuro. Mellow, dramatic-sounding song

Pretty much. I've been treated like garbage here my entire life. In the prairie provinces at least, if you aren't a social butterfly and a huge alcoholic then you're automatically a creep and a drain on society. If your a socially awkward guy like me you'll be ostracized and alienated.
My best friendships have been formed through online gaming, Americans specifically from California seem like really cool people.

Back in the 90s and early 2000s there were often specials/news stories on TV about how Hip-Hop supposedly promoted violence against women and school shootings (Specifically targeting Eminem). These are the things SJWs are targeting as well.
Although...Liberals of of old were apparently the ones who targeted pornography (Specifically Playboy) for supposedly being degrading to women, now Conservatives are the ones who do that while Liberals will defend Playboy for being empowering to women. Times change, so maybe it could be like that for other aspects of human rights as well.

Sesshomaru was among my favorite characters. I liked him even better than Inuyasha. He was the coolest Vegeta-esque archetype. He NEVER once lost his cool or complained throughout the entire series.
Both Kagura and especially Kikyo's death made me sad, and also Sesshomaru's sympathy for Rin during episode 9 was a really "awwee" moment.

Anyway, you told me it ended on a cliffhanger, which it did, BUT Inuyasha The Final Act was awesome, and after the last episode I was left with a "Wow" feeling, and it wrapped up really nicely IMO.
Episode 8 and 9 of Final Act almost made me cry.
I feel bad for people who watched the series on Adult Swim/YTV back in the early 2000s and probably don't even know it's conclusion and what happens to Naraku. :/

What exactly is a base builder game? Not really familiar with the term and the google results are a bit mixed.

You build a base, customize it however you want, earn resources to get new types of defense/weapons for your base, enemies attack the base and you see them die in cool ways etc.
