I had heard that the original series had a poor ending, but that was because they had thought there wasn't going to be anymore for the anime.
The Final Act came out way after and from what I know it seems to wrap things up nicely.

Nah. This is Canada, and here over the past decade or so we've had a Foreign worker program implemented because of labor shortage, and all the corporations abuse it to hell and back, so they all hire foreign workers instead of Canadian workers.
What was supposed to be a program to help labor shortage eventually took a complete 180 and now it's almost impossible for us to get jobs.
If our government doesn't want us to have jobs then fuck it.

I've been more hesitant to game online this generation because of stuff like this. When I was an avid XBL gamer back in the early-mid 2000s, I saw how heated the hate speech and threats could get, and back then I had no doubt many people on there would cause serious harm had they met IRL, and definitely had the mental capacity to. Now they actually have the resources to act on them, which I find kind of terrifying.
