That honestly bugged me, I know its nerdy. I mean Krillin was able to hurt Frieza with one of those and would have killed Nappa if he hadnt dodged. I mean, the only time Vegeta even lost his cool for a second before Goku arrived is when he shouted at Nappa to not be a dumbass and dodge the crazy sharp ki disc.

Aside from filler the destructo disc should be dodge or die imo; okay one might say Jiren was literally that much stronger and maybe at some point you can finally tank it but if there was a larger gap between Goku and Jiren than Krillin and Frieza Jiren could have snapped him like a twig so no I dont buy that.

Honestly I could have accepted the one he caught from the middle without touching the edge; perhaps weve just never seen it done and its the edges that cause the mega death. But no then they had to have him break one like that filler cell bit. Catching them like a frisbee is still scary badass for Jiren to have done and even has precedent since Frieza could serve them up like a frisbee without filleting himself like he did later when he misaimed then.

I haven't watched the entire show, was there something under the programming that could disagree with it?

Were knives originally designed to hunt AKA kill or were they originally designed to skin and prepare the animal after being killed with a larger weapon like a spear or a bow and arrow? I think we'd need to talk to some kind of anthropologist or something to sort this one out.

Personally, I'm willing to have a little more faith in humanity than that. If we can't make it on our own accord without being forced to not be shitty people then we don't deserve to make it.

Community is about working together to keep us all afloat, and if it means we have to bail a bit for each other, yes it does mean that. For example, your giving money to charity is the same thing as helping society by being part of a society.

The way we become better people is by creating a system in which we can help each other become better, not just throwing money at the problem personally and hoping it goes away.

And you think that it's okay to not have federal charity because people in general would be willing to donate 15% of their income while at the same time mocking someone who is a liberal because you knew they wouldn't have done that?

That's an impressive mental pretzel.

Critics tend to review with their head and audiences with their heart. The critic reviews more often look at the history of film and cinematography, and whether the film can bring a new idea to the world in an interesting way. Audiences tend to like films that touch them or hit their favorite genre or are just funny even if cinematically flawed.

I find looking at a bit of both and deciding if we have a charming mess, a brilliant bore or something in the middle helps. Do I want to watch this film to learn something about humanity or eat popcorn and laugh? A poor critic rated film with a decent audience score can often do the latter.

Yeah Im not sure about that game, but thanks for the suggestion. It looks like its about jumping around and manuevering. Lolo on the other hand is more about thinking about where lolo will put various things and moving lolo himself around isnt the main object most of the time. Its a subtle distinction but also kind of not; puzzle not puzzle platformer is the idea here.

Setting the stage my parents got a PS4 specifically so they could play the jackbox game drawful pretty much lol.

However I know he likes trivia games and party style games;

The play link series (thats me, etc)
The jackbox party packs
Drawful 2

But I remember he really liked Lolo and said hed still play a game like that.

A puzzle game thats cerebral, small stages with no continuity between them, almost or no platforming timing style stuff, a real game you can pick up a little and put down again.

Also yeah Lolo has a little bit of timing stuff but I suspect he has even less patience for that now than he did then.

You know what would be cool? A bigger area inside what seems like it would be a small area. Like a well that leads to an underground cavern or a small hut that turns out the back wall is bashed in and you can go into a larger building that didnt have a clear entrance and was mostly invisible under debris. Or a mostly blocked subway entrance that you barely spot, or an outhouse that turns out it has a secret elevator to the secret lab in it

Apparently I don't have a life. Well, for your information I have a life where I buy too many video games. Interestingly they didn't have GBA SP on there, although I guess it's the same thing as the Advance more or less.

I also had a Super Game Boy, ha. That's what I used before the GBA to play game boy games.

I've been at things, and in things. But I've never really belonged to anything. I think I came close once in college, at an anime club. We ran some conventions even, and I even say we. I even was in charge of the game room one year. And yet, now, I barely remember most of them and at the time I wasn't sure how to even talk to a lot of them. I still feel awkward thinking about it. I think I spent most of my time in meetings just being there.

I feel like there's some trick in life to actually being part of something and I never mastered it. It's pathetic.

Gamestop is the place where I can buy a dozen games at once instead of just one. Not to mention, where do you buy your video games? Best Buy? Walmart? I like local places myself, I know of a few good ones by me, but there really isn't much variety anymore.
