It's a good thing they are in the minority.

The majority of people believe that Amber is being criticized for her abuse of Johnny, not because of her gender.

The only people commenting that the majority of people supporting Johnny are "incels" are misandrists who are too dumb to do any critical thinking. They are also too dumb to realize that they are infantilizing women by saying that any valid criticism thrown towards a woman is too much, which actually hurts women.
I know, but it is pretty pathetic just the level of ignorance it takes to have the position that all people that criticize Heard are incels and this is a view being essentially parroted around the MSM, so it it is the narrative that the powers that be want us to believe.

I mean if you watched the trial, you would see the vast majority of Depp fans standing outside the courtroom were woman. Outside of the fact that it was mostly middle aged woman, you would think the trial was a Justin Bieber concert or something. So this narrative that it is just a bunch of He Man woman haters against Heard is preposterous.

different, but related.

Again, Disney hemorrhaging money playing gender politics. Depp is recovering from being slandered. Both need a win, Disney moreso....

...but you're forgetting one thing....."He's Captain Jack Sparrow".

...no really, that's Sparrow's whole shtick, acting all drunk and whimsical as such. Wouldn't take much to get back in that role.

Also that whole slurred speech thing, is because of ADD and anxiety issues he admitted having all his life, which could explain his substance abuse issues which is not uncommon among those types. And obviously doesn't bode well being in an abusive relationship with a psyhco-bitch like Heard either, probably sent him over the edge.
I suppose, but if the dude didn't play guitar or had some good spontaneous quips for Rottenborn I would've thought the dude had dementia. The dude could barely remember and testify properly about the time he lost his friggin finger due to Heard, his lawyers had to baby him through it. I mean how can't you describe the time you fricken lost your finger properly. How baked are you Depp?

"I absolutely believe post-verdict that Pirates is primed for rebooting with Johnny as Captain Jack back on board. There is just too much potential box-office treasure for a beloved character deeply embedded in the Disney culture. With [producer] Jerry Bruckheimer riding high on the massive success of Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, there is huge appetite for bringing back bankable Hollywood stars in massively popular franchises."

Suddenly Disney is all friendly, huh Adam?
I still have a hard time believing Johnny can act well any more. As much as I laughed at the phycho, psychologist Heard's team brought out, I actually have to agree with him that Johnny's cognitive state has went down significantly. I mean Johnny could barely speak properly the second time he went to the stand & seem confused. It worked out well for him there because when he said he didn't recall something you believed it, but if you can barely testify, good luck being the protagonist in a movie. He seemed pretty washed.

This is actually false. I already have explained about the UK case Johnny Depp tried against the Sun.
The issue with the Sun case is that it only examined if the Sun defamed him, not Amber, so most of the evidence was not properly examined, so Amber was able to spout her lies and Johnny couldn't dispute it. However, in this case Johnny was able to dispute the lies and it didn't turn out to well for Amber. I mean she only had to prove Johnny hit her once and she couldn't that is pretty pathetic.

Who cares. The jurors were not allowed to view any media as the trial went along and they all voted against Heard on all counts, so it was not like her arguments were that compelling. And it is not like you have to lie to make Heard look bad. She did enough lying on the stand to do that for her.

Trying to appeal the verdict for Heard would be dumb anyways, unless there was some technical or procedural aspect of the case that was overlooked it is almost impossible to win these, especially in a jury trial. All it is going to do is make her even look more like a loser. It is better to gaslight all the headline readers, redditors & twitter bots that the courts in the US are misogynist and that she did nothing wrong and try to rebuild her acting career than trying to argue this further. But, she is a narcissist who never can admit wrong, so I no doubt she will appeal.

Nah, it will end tomorrow. The trial has already been going on for six weeks. If they haven't made up thier minds by now they never are going to. The only reason it didn't end on Friday was because the judge essentially sent the jurors packing right away. I feel like it has been a pretty one sided case. The fact that the defense reduced thier counter suit down to around $250,000 hints that they don't believe in thier case. Otherwise, why not ask for a couple million, since Depp supposedly abused heard for 4 years and ruined her acting career according to them. The whole thing stinks of desperation.

I live in the southwest so we have Jimson weed a supposed hallucinogen the native Indians used for vision quests, although the lethal dose & the effective dose is supposedly pretty close, so you will have tweakers OD on the stuff pretty often.

Caster bean is also pretty common and I see that along side roads all the time. When the beans of that plant are crushed they form ricin, a deadly toxin common in used for assassinations, historically in eastern Europe.

Poison oak is also pretty common. It is pretty easy to identify by its three touching leaves. Some forests are infested with the stuff and the leaves will cause a rash when contacted with, so you can come out of these forests with a full body rash if you are not wearing long sleeves or pants. Every once in awhile you will hear some moron brew it in a tea and I can't imagine that is very pleasant, probably close the throat without medical attention.

It does seem to be a bunch of poorly laid out excuses. First it was that they thought the security guard was handling it, although why you would leave a lone security guard to fend off the attack by himself makes no sense, but it was found out later that there was no security guard fending off the attack, so they straight up lied on that one. Then it was that we don't have body armor so it would be too dangerous to fight off the assailant, but I don't know why thier lack of preparation should be taken out on victims and it is not like police haven't dealt with not having proper body armor for the job before. Then it was that we are not trained for these situations and need specialized equipment and personnel to do the job, so I guess you have to be specially trained to shoot someone as a police officer now a days.

I guess the only thing I can side on the police officers with was that a lockdown was in effect at the school shortly after the first couple shootings and the situation did not appear to be escalating, so they could appear to wait a bit for Swat to arrive, but yeah the optics of the whole situation was terrible.

Your heat tolerance builds up overtime if you eat a lot of spicy food. There used to be a time when I thought Jalapenos were hot, now I can eat a whole jar of them and barely feel a tingle. Even though I don't think it has been discussed anywhere and it could be bull, I also feel eating a lot of spicy food deadens the temperature sensing nerves as well. For instance, I can eat a French fries right out of a fryer without being in pain ever since I started eating lots of spicy food. Probably not a good thing to be honest, although I suppose it makes sense since the capcasin binds to the temperature sensing receptors and if you are overloading them constantly then it would make sense that they would be screwed up for temperature sensing as well.

I had off today, so all I pretty much did was binge the trial, drink whiskey & eat tacos, so I feel like one of Amber's turds.

Yesterdays Trial
There were multiple witnesses, but it pretty much was Heard that everyone cared about and it was the return of Hallmark Movie Heard again: lots of houghy acting, rising crescendos & the Heard special of no tears (maybe she's a reptilian or something). The whole thing was a disaster, as she went on a histrionic rant about how the Twitter people were out to get her & if the jury did not vote against the Depp then they would microwave her baby or something. It was total cringe and the desperate testimony was anhilated in cross. At this point you can see the utter hatred that Heard has for Vazquez. Heard may not have PTSD from Depp, but I feel like she is going to get it from Vazquez and her ruthless cross examinations.

Closing
For Depp, it was nearly flawless. Good pacing, structure and points. It pretty much salted the earth of anyone ever believing Heard by reiterating the lies that she told over and over and over again, bolstered Johnny by showing his life and how damaging Heard's lies were and then ended by a call to action to save Depp by voting yes on defamation. Very enjoyable.

For Heard, I thought Rottenborn's closing was pretty good. He tried to pivot domestic abuse from physcial to verbal and emotional and supported his argument with strong evidence. Although, ultimately it is far too late. Depp's team have essentially set the parameters for domestic abuse to be physical pretty early an area Heard as very little evidence for, so this shift to try to define it as verbal and emotional this late in the trial is ineffective.

However, regardless of how good Rottenborn did, crazy cat women Elaine ultimately mucked things up to an unmanageable degree. She was pressed for time so she was going at 2x speed the whole time and was just spewing a word salad of unintelligible garbage. She came across as the drunk conspiratorial aunt at a Thanksgiving party and pretty much screwed up everything Rottenborn was doing, by confusing the hell out of the Jury and burning almost all the time for rebuttal. What a garbage lawyer.

I figured Amber was going to lose anyways because not only does her story not make sense, but her legal team and all the witnesses she calls are completely unlikable. Plus she keeps pushing this dumb narrative that she is a perfect little angel, St. Heard, as I call her when everyone knows she is a LA party girl with a $25,000/month Cocaine budget and abusive tendencies. At least Johnny is a little more relatable and not stretching credulity by acting perfect

Although, honestly, yesterday was a bit boring because it mostly had Depp witnesses who are actually half way normal unlike the degenerate hatchetmen that Heard calls. But I sure as heck believe them a lot more than hers. Although, Elaine's crazy cat women antics and extreme boomerism still keep things interesting I suppose.

Yesterday, was immensely entertaining with that crazy phycologist dude. The bitch does not even comb his hair before taking the stand and looks like he just got done touching a Van De Graff generator.
He then straight up violates the GoldWater rule by psychoanalyzing Depp through the TV Dr. Drew style and argues how everyone does it. Then makes some of the most spurious opinions I have ever seen: "Depp has narcissistic personality disorder because he is sueing Heard." So, sueing for legitimate concerns is a mental illness now? It was absurd. I don't know where Heard even finds these people.

And of course none of the abuse is substantiated by witnesses despite there being numerous staff, body guards & a literal coven of witches and associated squatters that resided in Depp's home, It is pretty much Schrdinger's domestic violence. It evidently exists, but no one has seen it. The Heard supporters pretty much have to resort to a vast conspiracy orchestrated by Depp to bribe all the police, doctors & numerous in house witnesses to explain why there is no evidence of physcial violence committed by Depp against heard. It's pretty bad.

Yeah, that whole saga was exasperating. I mean it was absurd to expect Waldman to violate attorney client privileges & open himself up to potential lawsuits, so even though the defense thought they where being suave by trying to make Waldman look evasive, all it really did was gain them the enmity of the people watching the trial, as it was unnecessary and came across as underhanded.

Honestly, the you say that about the whole day.

I mean Heard's team start with questioning Johnny's former lawyer where they ask objectionable questions for about 45 minutes straight and when they finally ask questions that Johnny's lawyer can answer he drops that the purjury case for Heard is still on going and that he handed the officers "A binder full of purjerious documents". So that blew up in thier face. Although, the jury may have been asleep by then.

Graph guy was next, but we already described him.

Then you had the lawyer that drafted Heard's op ed. After citing his credentials for nearly ten minutes, he stated that the op ed he drafted should've been completely, totally defamatory proof, since he is some mega super defamation lawyer. Welp, hope Heard can get a refund on that one.

Next, we got an old geezer phycologist that didn't remember Depp as a patient (how can't remember Depp as your patient?) and spend his testimony going through his notes & speaking in stream of consciousness. It was pretty weird.

They called Depp's former sex buddy from twenty years to try to get evidence of physical abuse, but the worst she could dredge up was Depp tossing a wine bottle at the ground that injured no one and erm, he was worried about people cheating on him. What a violent maniac we have here.

Finally we had Heard's agent that stated that Heard didn't lose her Aquaman contract or any contracts for that matter & tried to convince the jury that somehow Aquaman was a critically acclaimed masterpiece or something and should've earned Heard a bigger paycheck and that her inability to leverage Aquaamaaan for a bigger contract is evidence of Depps defamation affecting her. I mean I guess, Depp an A lister lost 50 million from the cancellation of his pirates contract and has been essentially canceled from Hollywood, but if you want to convince us that Heard is being discriminated against because she can leverage her Aquaman role into a bigger career be our guest.
