No one cares about him smashing some furniture or sending mean text messages to his friends. The reason was Depp was cancelled was because Heard called him a fricken rapist & wife beater. I think that is what most people took umbrage to, not him being a douche. Most people would be domestic abusers if a little bit of yelling was all it took to qualify as one.

It will make him look kind and generous in the short term, but long term, I am sure she will continue to harass him. Personally, if someone abused me for four years, then destroyed my reputation by falsely accusing me of being a rapist & domestic abuser, there would be no mercy and I would go economic hitman on thier ass, single mom or no, but we will see what he does.

It's a little more complicated than that. A functional wheel can't just be vaguely round, it has to be very round. And generally paired (at least) with an equally honed circle. And mounted to some form of pivot or axle. And that just gives you a relatively awkward cart that can't really be steered - for that you need even more complication.

It's been implied that the wheel was essentially useless for most of early human history. So even in places where it was "discovered", it would be seen as little more than a novelty (ie, wheels attached to the feet of an animal-shaped toy) or as something unrelated to motion (like a potter's wheel). At best it would be used as a smaller pull cart (like a little red wagon today), but even then only in places where you're moving large amounts of mass on a regular basis (which you don't really get prior to the development of metalworking and agriculture).

Another problem is, you need to domesticate horses (or some other form of draft animal, but horses generally came first) before the wheel really becomes all that useful on a larger scale. But once you have horses, it's easier to just ride them. For wheels to be optimal on a vehicle (and thus inspiring further technological development), you need a very specific set of conditions, including stuff like mostly flat terrain and bronze tools (to properly shape wood into the right shape).

Then you compare all this to just needing a hollowed out tree trunk and body of water & you can see why boats came first. Plus water transportation is more efficient than land transportation, so you still would prefer to boat things for long journeys if applicable.

Dues Ex is linear with branching story paths, similar to Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, another pretty immersive action RPG. Although, I suppose most branches end up leading to the same place, so I guess they are more temporary diversions rather than branches.

Yeah, the same thing for Salmon. It used to be cheap canned fish similar to the tuna of today until it was overfished. Now the wild stuff is pretty expensive.

One food that got the inverse treatment was shrimp. That used be high class food priced similar to if not even more than lobster, however some Japanese dude learned to farm raise them and the price shot through the floor.

Going back to lobster, the lobster fisheries have been doing pretty good, so lobster has been going down in price. Crab fisheries actually have been running into some problems, so you have been seeing the price of snow crab going above lobster, which is pretty weird.

Bacon is routinely around $6-$7/LB. While steak will ordinarily be more expensive for a good cut (I'm not talking chuck or sirloin or cheaper cuts) it often goes on sale for around $6-$7 for a ribeye, so I have seen a good steak go for cheaper as absurd as that it is.

I mean I remember when bacon was a poor mans cut priced around the same price as hot dogs now it is a premium product often priced at double the price of a pork tenderloin.

We are talking in terms of overated. Bacon used to be a very cheap cut with the tenderloin being the premier pork cut. After bacon mania however, the price of bacon is often higher than a decent cut of steak, which is just absurd.

In terms of steak, the t-bone is super overated. I mean you are mostly paying for the fricken bone. Porterhouse & the Strip are from the same region and actually have some meat, porterhouse being the better of the two because you get some of the eye. Although, I would say the ribeye is better than all of them.

@Dmess85 you want to make a poll topic about this? Or should I?

id actually be really interested, seems a lot of people use Xbox controllers
They are better supported on PC and work with nearly every modern game out of the box, where as other controllers like the PS4 often require you to use a button remapping program such as antimicro to get them working. First world problems, I know, but it makes a difference.

In addition to this they are well designed: with convex buttons, off set analogue sticks & solid triggers, pretty much everything you would want with a modern controller. The only weakness used to be the dpad on the 360, which was horrible, but that has been fixed with more modern xbox controllers.

With that said, I mostly use the keyboard for everything if I am playing PC, since it is what I am used to.

I've had a kangaroo burger, as well as an ostrich burger. They were alright but are more of a novelty than something I would come back to. Bison doesn't taste too much different to beef to me tbh. I don't even see how she could appeal. Her legal fees for the court case were six million, so that wipes most of the divorce settlement & her acting career only earned her about 10 million gross, so the Depp judgement should wipe away her residual wealth. Her next legal case will probably be a bankruptcy proceeding rather than an appeal. I guess she can always buy a big house in Florida to keep through the bankruptcy proceedings though, since homes there can't be discharged through bankruptcy if you file for bankruptcy there.

huh, sounds like that since it was already proven as defamatory that Depp should have no trouble suing his former publicist/whoever to recoup some
It was his lawyer, Mr. Waldman, that made the statement. The whole thing was a bit of a stretch legally to be honest, since we don't know if Waldman was acting as Depp's agent in regards to the publication (although, it is a reasonable assumption to assume so) or if it was made with actual malice, since you would have to prove that the statement was known to be incorrect or even if the statement caused Heard damages, which is a stretch since Heard still kept her Aquaman 2 & Loriel contracts and didn't appear to be damaged by it.

To me it looked like it was done just to please a holdout juror. The deliberations lasted part of Friday, all of Tuesday & a good portion of Wednesday, so there was most likely some disagreement within the body. This was probably thrown as a bone to the Heard holdout and would be the most palatable to the Depp supporters, since the claim that Heard staged the apartment scene was a bit dubious and not really backed up by evidence, so would be the easiest to give up in a compromise.
