When I was a kid, I was too good at hitting baseballs. I hit homeruns at T-ball every time and regular baseball most every time. They even tried to accuse us of cheating somehow it the parent pitching league because my Dad pitched for the team. Same with soccer. I could kick the ball all the way from center to net. They claimed you can't score like that unless it touches 2 players from the kick off. Which of course is bullshit but hey. They enforced it.

Then during kickball in 6th grade I got told not to kick the ball so hard, hahaha ha. What kinda of bullshit is that. The object was to kick the shit to a homerun. Somehow I was always a league out of my own growing up until high school.

Ive boxed for 22 years.

I have noticed that the sports you do generally determines how you approach things in your adulthood. For example, kids that play soccer are more team minded as adults and work better in groups. Meanwhile, I who boxed, default to trying things solo that I should really be getting help for. My friends have noticed it, too, especially when we are on COD. They all grew up with team sports.

TL;DR: Enroll your kids in soccer.

Tried 'em all, failed 'em all

You'd think a 6ft guy would be an asset to a team.. any team..

and golf? Nope
Grade 5 camp 2 teachers invited me and a friend to try it
I couldn't even hit the ball meanwhile my friend, on his first swing ever, hit the ball perfectly and it was gone Y-Y

I failed at boxing. My nose kept pour blood. Got it cauterized, didn't help. I'm just a bleeder. Ironically I found later in life my body produces too much blood so I finally started donating blood and it makes my body feel better.

I was also really good at golf naturally as a kid. Especially Putt-Putt. When I got older I was pure trash.

I only played organized baseball and football. I was more successful at football but that's because I played more of it. I think I actually had more aptitude for baseball but I came to it VERY late and didn't really "go" for it like I could have.

Baseball - I was a good hitter (rarely struck out), not as good as a fielder.

Golf - My dad (an avid golfer) says my swing is more natural than his, but he can out-drive me easily. I also have a tendency to slice or hook the ball. I used to grip the golf club like a baseball bat, but doing so often led to me getting a blister near the base of my left thumb, so I had to adjust my grip.

Bowling - Bowled in several Saturday morning leagues when I was growing up, and was part of a school team that won county championship. I was the youngest in my family to break 200 (rolled a 209 at age 14) and my best score is 232.

I wouldn't. Because I was a 6ft 3in guy for most of middle school and high school and it was more of a detriment than an advantage.

Mainly because my initial growth spurt was so major that it kind of threw off my sense of balance and coordination for years, which made me kind of awkward and clumsy. Which left me pretty shit at most sports that required interaction with something else (kicking a ball, throwing a ball, catching a ball, hitting a ball with a racket, etc). Which is why my sport of choice basically became running track. Because I was actually good at that.

By the end of high school I'd kind of gotten used to my monstrous new form and started to get better at certain games (volleyball for obvious reasons, and soccer as long as I was playing defense and not offense), but I still suck at most of the games where you'd expect height to be a huge asset (like basketball).

Of course, now that I'm old and feeble I suck at pretty much every sport other than competitive napping.

Running I guess, but it is not too much of a sport. But I have ran in marathons before. I just find them boring, so don't bother with them anymore.

Yep. I actually hate balls getting thrown at me and catching them is difficult for me too so this rules out a lot of sports. That's ok though as I don't like sports and have no desire to learn any.

Football, I'm not the fastest but I have the football IQ and strength to make up for it

I guess I'm ok at basketball as long as it's not 1v1, I can't score for shit but I'm a lock down defender and can pass decently

Define "Good"... lol

Basketball - Yeah I can shoot hoops. I can make my shots. My problem? My stamina sucks so I get tired fast and then that's when I start to suck. It makes me slack on defense.

Baseball/Softball - I always had good hand eye coordination. I can hit the ball into gaps on the field and can get a base hit without trying. My problem? I can't hit for power and I definitely can't play defense. For some reason catching a fly ball is challenging for me and I can never read how it hits off the bat. Frustrating.

I'm bad at golf, but enjoy it. The worst thing with golf is that you can't take all the time you need for a good performance because you have to hurry for people behind you all the time.

I'm alright at football (AKA soccer) and quite good at tennis and basketball.
