Hidden Fates is unlikely to be matched in terms of hype because it isn't just Charizard. It had a Cynthia and most of the eevees in it as well as Mewtwo along with other fan favorites. HF was loaded.

Theres this one grading service, I forget the name, but they throw out high grades often and it's dirt cheap per card. Their labels look cheap too.

So basically you're better off just going through one of the more respected services like Beckett or PSA

CGC is respected, just new to cards.

It is GMA you want to avoid.

Deaths aren't the only bottom line here, a lot of people who have gotten this are going to have a lot of issues going forward. Your New York attacks are just meaningless. Fair enough. I think about it like I do climate change/global warming. Sure, individual people shouldn't litter, blah blah blah. But individuals are not the cause of climate change. in the panic of march AAL got down to a little under 9 a share.

It being at 11 something when there are flights and a clear path forward long term made no sense. It was just like 'haha you got a loan from the government and clearly even biden if he wins will bail you out because MURICA, let's lower the price more.'

I have heard people talk about the sex narration and it didn't land on me like that, but I suppose I get it. I guess after so long with him with the Winter Mantle it's going to be 'Dresden is going to Dresden' and when it is inappropriate he usually does a good job of going 'fuck, fuck, fuck' which amuses me.

I felt like there was a lot of politics at play throughout the book though! White Council Politics, family politics for Dresden, having to trick former allies to save his brother and letting the count of monte CRISTO hang himself with his own ambitions. Also as soon as it said that the Fomor King had requested it I knew something was up, it didn't make any sense.

I can understand why people wouldn't like this as a stand alone as it is clearly a 1-2 punch with Battleground but getting 340 pages of Dresden and then more 2 months later after a six year drought will make me forgive a lot.

On its own though I really liked a lot of the plot elements introduced and how they keep making Harry just more scary and firm up his alliances while shattering some of them as well. Also a lot of hints as to where the shit can potentially hit the fan. One of my end game guesses is that Alfred is going to betray Harry.

I have been very busy with my business lately and I genuinely believe in AAL's rebound potential in the time period I need (1-3 years)

I haven't had a ton of time to research stocks lately and Tesla still makes no sense to me, so hey fair to the people who make money on it and I feel like Amazon's bubble is getting ready to burst at least a little bit, and I don't think the gain is enough to make me want to go on an adventure with them.

Either I am right or wrong on AAL, guess we'll see.

Fun fact of the day: New York's cases are so horrific looking because it is a mecca for travel for the entire world and there were a lot of unknowns back then in terms of what could best be done. New York recorded its first 0 death day over the weekend, while Florida for example had 70 deaths the same day. Timing is everything, New York's ideas are working and that is why they are being touted.
