Eh, I wanted Steiner to get a win and he got his win, and although very few people will ever care I know I worked hard and earnestly for a lot of the members of the alliance. Some of the negative stuff was internal, some had to do with no force rising up to oppose it (as factions used to happen in previous contests...none came this time) and then last year was just sucky as can be for me which led to quips about my failures.

I regret every second of it, mind you, but it did accomplish the goal.

Probably, yeah. I actually enjoyed the year Rydia won more than the year Steiner won because there was less pressure from outside sources. That was a lot of fun helping Shoe realize the Rydia dream.

Man, your pictures are really cool though. I could probably push a character if I wrote a short story for each elimination and made it interesting, creativity should be rewarded. I was for sure not going for technical merit.

Although admittedly the year Steiner won it got pretty bloated but that's mostly because I had someone constantly telling me it wasn't enough.

You know I can be shitty sometimes, but sorry that a friend being murdered interrupted my obligations to this contest. Like, there's an insanely good reason why I did close to nothing last year and wasn't around to enforce more of what I owed. I have a list of characters that I vaguely know I will throw a save to if they are in need due to this, but yeah.

Also the computer I kept the notepad of obligation on kind of exploded. I know Ramza/Yuna, I know Quina for Stifled, and I vaguely remember Edgar for some reason.

Last year was a really shitty year for me.

Also because no one cares, the entire alliance was built around save trading in a multi year structure that I could go into but no one cares about the truth so yeah.

The Alliance thing. Any feelings I had about Steiner going out early were probably pretty in the moment.

I just remember vividly our conversation about you not supporting Steiner and it stuck with me. Probably hard to convey this over text but this is less of a 'grr mad' response and more 'I just don't want to be any sort of partner with mnk' type deal.
