My Korean friend introduced it to me recently. As stated it's a 19x19 board where each player puts down a 'stone' each turn. The goal is to surround empty space with your stones; every intersection point on the board can be occupied by a stone, or, if surrounded by them, counts as a 'point' when scoring at the end of the game. You can "capture" your opponent's stones (or a string of them) by horizontally and vertically surrounding them with your own, in which case their surrounded stones are removed from the board.

Theres not very much that comes after the anime and it's not inconsistent quality as much as just a horrifically slow release schedule. You can dislike the content or speed but it's pretty severe to say it tanks the series, especially when the anime found such a natural stopping point.

Okay so I went back to 2nd floor with Maria and this really bizarre thing happened. It was REALLY loud. It sounded like the radio came on to a baseball game or something and the announcer said something like "hey all thanks for listening." It was so jarring that I was sure it came from my discord call but the bot wasn't on and nobody knew what I was talking about. The spontaneity and unexplainable-ness of it was almost scarier than anything else in this game.

Once they introduce Nen it really escalates. It gets to an arc called Yorknew City. Yorknew is kinda the Battle Tendency of HxH, that's where it really evolves into what people love about the series.

You've only just met Killua who, in terms of development and background, is basically the main character. So at least stick with it a little longer to see if you like him.

I really wanna try to lose a lot of weight. My lowest was 195 in sophomore year of high school but I ballooned when I want to boarding school. Highest was like 270. I'm 240 right because I (before covid) lived on a big college campus and had to move around everywhere. I've banned stuff like candy from myself but I still have tendencies to overeat. It's less that I'm not careful and more that I basically have a food addiction.

Both Republicans and moderate Democrats share a joint interest in not increasing the voting rates of young people. Republicans lose general elections to Democrats when young people vote in high numbers. Moderate Democrats lose primary elections to progressive Democrats when young people vote in high numbers. As Hill and Grumbach added, Nobody wants to be a victim of the next Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or Ayanna Pressley.
I do not know how serious some moderate Democrats are about the vitality of American democracy. I do not know if they value the vitality of American democracy over the vitality of their political careers.
