I guess it's not a huge deal because they're ideally monster-heavy decks anyway, but they specifically released two pendulum support cards for Crystal Beasts (my pet archetype) which are basically suicide to set as pendulum now as you lose the space necessary for Crystal Abundance. The upshot is that in theory they should allow for Pendulum Link monsters that increase the space for you to summon from the extra deck, but Konami practically put Pendulum support comatose. We don't even have an Odd-Eyes link monster to fulfill the gimmick of the archetype. --- |

At first I didnt like it because I was stuck in GX anime logic of game speed but upon reflection I think it's the best card type addition in the game. Link on the other hand is like an even more problematic Xyz that supports and encourages its own type at the expense of the rest of the game. It's like a parasite. And their lack of DEF makes them less versatile cards as actual monsters. I don't know how they're supposed to iterate on the game now without just kneecapping Link monsters like they did the previous extra deck cards. --- |

I really love him, hes never been very playful but he lights up in joy when you pet him. It sounds strange but I have an emotional connection with him that's deeper than with any human I know. I just love him. He'll probably be fine, but last time I came home for Christmas I learned my grandpa had passed away and I hadn't been told so that I didnt get distracted from exams or whatever, now I'm always afraid that I'll come home and my cat will be gone. --- |

I had it in my head that you could turn off the Xbox One home button light through Steam, but apparently that feature is only available for literally every other controller. It's so bright in my dark room that I'd rather use the Steam Controller. --- |

| Doe 11/27/19 2:00:24 AM #21 | To be clear I do think it's a very fun thing to play around is, problem being that if you want to really take full advantage of the hardware you spend more time tinkering settings than you do playing your videogame. Things may have gotten better since then but as an early adopter I recall the most popular/upvoted control schemes (which can be uploaded and shared through big picture mode) just weren't very good and frequently made odd programming decisions or even were flat out mistaken or broken. I'll say the idea of it is still cool but once the novelty wears off it's not a plug and play replacement for an Xbox or Switch controller. Had a fine time playing Dark Souls and even Saints Row 2 but it really sucked to play Arkham Knight with it. And again the build quality feels cheap, a reviewer (I think IGN) was ridiculed for saying it felt like plastic since yeah all controllers are plastic but you see what he means when you hold it compared to the Switch controller, it's noticeably less premium. And then the front of the controller is glossy and the worst fingerprint magnet I've ever owned. On a CONTROLLER. The back paddles are a cool idea but it can be easy to squeeze and accidentally activate them. It does have wicked sick dual stage triggers, though the range of motion is less than on Xbox. Its most impressive feature to me is not the touchpad joystick but rather the gyroscope, which came out before the Switch pro controller and can be programmed to activate at a button press and correspond to mouse movement. That gyroscope is way better feeling to aim precisely with than the touchpad. I operated the Wii cursor in Mario Galaxy 2 using the gyroscope. --- |
