I don't see it as a scumbag thing at all. If you want to leak stuff you aren't supposed to you need to be prepared to face the consequences. I don't give 2 ****s about pokemon or it's leaks, but just talking in a general sense. Doesn't matter if leaks happen in everything now days, I don't have a problem with companies trying to fight back. Imagine you worked your ass off on creating something for years and years, and some ass comes and leaks everything before you can show it yourself.
I'm mostly worried about free speech implications for somehow who saw the leak and reshared it, wittingly or not

That was the diffused message that made some people in the public panic, perhaps.

Y2K was real though, in the sense that it was a potential fault in financial systems. Computers typically stored the year value as 2 digits rather than 4. Imagine if your computer program tracking interest on client loans fell back 99 years and you owed a century of negative interest.

I'm going for a business degree while I also study English.

The truth is that people in business school are human robots. Not in the sense that they don't have social skills but they all have the same vague party-goer personality, watching sports on their phones during lectures, and they chose business school from a combination of their parents' encouragement, wanting a high paying job, and having no inspiration to do anything else.

Rule34 is typically applied to fictional characters so I don't get the furry complaint. But 'tentacle porn' is interesting because basically it means there should be metaporn about tentacle porn. But then that metaporn would require metaporn creating an infinite loop.

How does this make you feel

Number One: Inside Llewyn Davis
https://i.imgur.com/suVuQjx.jpg

It's just flawless. On first watch it can feel outside of their body of work (perhaps thanks to the departure of Roger Deakins, cinematographer) but upon further consideration I think it fits perfectly into their ethos.

Two: A Serious Man
https://i.imgur.com/pO9o5Zj.jpg

"I seriously fucked your wife!"

Three:The Big Lebowski
https://i.imgur.com/cnctpXk.jpg

You don't need an introduction. It's perhaps their most optimistic film and most forgiving to humanity. A different spin on coenesque.

Four:Barton Fink
https://i.imgur.com/Glz6ZTD.jpg

A leftist playwright signs a Hollywood contract to write some screenplays. Hard for me to talk about this one, it just has to be seen. One of their most playful, pensive, and inscrutable movies.

Five:No Country For Old Men
https://i.imgur.com/qS4U7vk.jpg

Obligatory. It's hard to believe Cormac McCarthy wrote this and not the Coen Brothers themselves, though they crown their version as definitive with the ending scene.

Six: The Man Who Wasn't There
https://i.imgur.com/Tent0AL.jpg

One of their most beautiful movies. Billy Bob Thornton gives a striking performance.

Seven:Fargo
https://i.imgur.com/CW2cuX9.png

They successfully pulled off a film noir comedy in the white-blanketed hills of rural North Dakota.

Eight:Blood Simple
https://i.imgur.com/rpz8nxZ.jpg

Their first film is a well-directed thriller that keeps you thinking, engaged, and on-pace with the film's horror and suspense. Codifying their ethos, Blood Simple takes film noir into the unassuming American suburb, and miscommunication and mischance is the engine of its tragic events.

Nine:Raising Arizona
https://i.imgur.com/GzqfRhm.gif

Their second movie and first full comedy, Nicholas Cage gives a really fun performance in a film where his criminal inclinations escape his mind and take on material reality. Its psychedelic qualities presage Barton Fink. It's ending sequence is noteworthy for its wistful sentimentality that rarely returns in later films of the Coen Brothers.

Ten: True Grit

Inside Llewyn Davis is a subtle movie, in being devoted to avoiding sentimentality they subvert how other filmmakers shooting a movie about a failed musician grieving their partner's suicide would lean on manipulating your emotions.

Barton Fink is also one of their best, I wouldn't call it unsatisfying because I think the conclusion is amazing in spite of a refusal to unravel mysteries. In general the Coen brothers reject the bow-topped Hollywood ending.

Blood Simple is a REALLY good thriller especially for a first film but it's also kind of empty. You could argue it's a postmodern statement but eh. I really like it but the reason to revisit it is only to appreciate the craft of putting a film together and not what it has to say

Miller's Crossing is alright but I'm not a big gangster film person. Definitely good but I'm not sure it's great. Could've had a shorter run time I feel like though I don't know what I'd cut. I just didn't like it so much.
