I'm not sure what ships you're talking about. The Republic "Star" Destroyers? Those didn't come into play till after the clones were acquired. As far as I remember.

Where are you getting these numbers? The swimsuit Saber Atraxia ones retailed for $70 in the US and were easily had on Amazon on clearance for $40 back in 2015.

Are you looking at the prices they are now? Collectors usually get stuff at retail or even cheaper if straight from Japan. They obviously appreciate, especially for a character like Saber. I wouldn't doubt the entire thing is worth A LOT more in today's aftermarket prices.

My headcanon is that Rey isn't a granddaughter in the traditional sense

I figured while watching the film that as opposed to Sheev clapping cheeks and having a kid then that kid having a kid, that he just reached out through the force and did his ol Anakin thing again

Why though? It's not like Sheev was infertile or anything.

Why would he have to create a son, when he had Sly Moore always around by his side? I mean, Dark Side Rey looks just like her.

In the EU, they used IVF with Sly to create his son, but he was some sinister fuck. The son in this looked like a docile normal dude.

On top of that, the way she fights Kylo in TFA is exactly like Sheev does vs Mace Windu in RotS. And she could use Force lightning and Anakin couldn't. I think Anakin was an experiment, while this was just the product of being human and genetics.

E.T. hasn't gotten one, but that's because Spielberg still has enough stroke to be able to block it from happening. Indiana Jones hasn't been rebooted yet. That one might have less to do with Steven standing in the way and more with the liabilities of the character. Disney isn't big on religious themes, nor is anyone really big on the idea of a white guy breaking into Egyptian and South American tombs.

ET had it through a commercial.

And Indiana Jones 5 is definitely happening soon. Lucasfilm is owned by Disney and they're not gonna sleep on that shit.

They could have easily done a part 1 and 2 out of Episode 9. I mean, this entire trilogy is 7 hours. Infinity War and Endgame alone are almost 6 hours and that worked wonders.

It definitely felt like two short movies crammed into one. But let's face it, JJ and Chris said they really didn't know where to go after TLJ and just made most of it up on the fly.

He was alright especially because it was Christopher Lee. But it was a hard pill to swallow after Darth Maul, who was better in every way.

I didn't like both Sith being old. Back then, I was really into the spectacle fashion of the lightsaber duels coming off TPM.

TFA is one of the highest grossing movies ever by itself, so financially they did great even if TRoS bombs, but the movies, especially as a trilogy, were weak as fuck and pointless.

Anakin was created by Palpatine, but again nothing says Rey was as well. In the EU, Palpatine's kid was from him and Sly Moore though invitro. Very likely the same here.

Kylo Ren through Palpatine made it very clear that the guy was son. There no reason to think otherwise. Anakin is a different story.

I watched TRoS in 3D and it was so fucking hard to see the final scenes which took place in near darkness.

But Endgame looked beautiful in 3D.

I've heard great things about Knives Out, and I absolutely loved Ozymandias for how it hit me emotionally. Looper was also not that bad, but not good enough for repeat viewings.

I think the problem was giving him the second movie in the trilogy and the fact that he was 100% trying to please Kathleen Kennedy with almost every scene going by the commentary version of the movie.

I'm betting if he had done his own non-related trilogy, no one would have a problem with him. He could probably bring tons of great ideas. But it's obvious that while JJ acted like he okayed everything in TLJ, even to the point of going back and changing his TFA ending, and then totally going against TLJ with TRoS speaks volumes about him also not really liking where it went. I think the final bad was always going to be Snoke. And I think Palpatine's granddaughter was also always going be the case. She fought Kylo Ren exactly like Palpatine did with Mace. You could see it even back then. Palpatine actual was added simply because of Snoke's death.

Yes, as I was watching TROS, I felt the same. Same with TLJ, as I've likened it to a run of the mill average Star Trek/Doctor Who episode.

However, I didn't feel this with TFA.

This is what I felt with the last episode because there's an episode from Capaldi's last season where they have to break into a bank and the set looked similar.

Then again, the shit show on Canto Blight in TLJ was basically two of the Doctor's companions running around like idiots.

Release order or chronological?

I've seen all the movies countless times except the EE of the 3rd Hobbit.

But I haven't done a run since 2014.

Last time I watched LotR first and finished with the Hobbit trilogy. I did this because I needed more after watching LotR.
