My mortgage is 15% of net if I made the usual payments, but I have been paying more so it is more like 23% with the extra.

I'll admit it is low because I bought the house when I was making around 60% of what I am now.

One thing they teach you in good workplaces is that one person is never wrong, the whole team is. Everything is a team effort and if something was overlooked then the whole team missed something because they all worked on it at some point. Plus, pointing blame is never going to solve anything, you should instead work on finding root causes, then implementing safeguards against them to make sure that the same problem never happens again.

It was just built and finished in November!

What's the problem with those sinks?
Well, my friend never encountered the leaking problem, but he did say that they just aren't very practical, and you don't realize it until you have to use them every day for your typical bathroom needs. Like the big thing is either the counter is too low, or the sink is too high, so one or the other never feels right.

But I would say try it out for a while then wait to see if you want to replace them or not. That is the thing about a house, you shouldn't go in expecting to renovate everything, but a year or two in you will find things here or there you will want to change.

Sounds like someone is jelly!

Anyways, when my older brother was looking to buy a place recently, they had a similar type of sink at one of the places they looked at, my dad told him would be a good idea to replace it if they got it as those kind of prone to leak. He has worked within the plumbing industry all his life, so i gues he does know this kind of stuff. I think they look great, but if that part about them leaking more often is true, i would go with an old fashion in the countertop kind.
They didnt get this place (the owners were asking to much and didnt want to budge on the price at all)
Yea, I had friends who had those kind of sinks, and they thought it looked cool, but they ended up replacing them after a year because they were such a hassle.

Still, nice house. I am assuming it is newer or recently renovated?

I was always jealous of the old people who get up at 5am, walk around the mall before any of the stores open, spend the afternoon drinking coffee in the local dinner, then go to bed after Jeopardy is over with. I'll probably do whatever the 2050's equivalent of that is. Well, that or be the pervy grandpa in the nursing home.

Zelda II, I remember I actually got it at Chuck-E-Cheese or Putt-Putt (can't remember which) by redeeming tickets to pick it up at the counter. I saw it behind the counter and between my parents and I we managed to play enough games to pool tickets together to get it. I don't remember how much we spent in tokens that night but I imagine it was way more then the game was actually worth.

I like the game, but oddly enough I only beat it once. Every time after that I could never find the lost child and could never get past that part.

A flying car.

Thanks big oil for killing that tech also.
It's not big oil so much as the FAA doesn't want as many people flying around as are driving. I mean, think of all the jerks on the road, now imagine they have a 3rd dimension do be jerks with...

Plus pretty much all personal airplanes are still internal combustion, electric engines hasn't really caught on in the airplane industry yet.

A brother/sister. As much as people think growing up an only child is fun, it can be pretty lonely especially when you live in an area where the nearest kids are a couple miles a way.

Also, more selfishly, a Genesis. Loved my SNES, but I was always jealous of the Genesis kids.

To be fair, I don't think Popeye has been relevant since that woman was born. Hell, he was barely relevant when I was a kid and I am probably 10 years older then her at least. It is the same as when people complain that teenagers don't know who Nirvana is, they just didn't grow up with it and their parents probably didn't expose them to that kind of music. I didn't know who Black Sabbath was until I was 16 and that is my father's favorite band.

Calzones but haven't had one in years. The place that made the best ones went out of business after the owner got cancer. New calzone place isn't as good, charges quite a bit more than the old one and has a lot more dough than filling
The calzones from the places near me are basically fold a medium pizza in half, throw some ricotta in the middle, bake, and serve. Not that I am complaining, it is awesome. I usually don't get them that much though because even half of one is way to much food for one sitting.

For local and state level stuff all the time, but on national level elections I usually abstain or put in a joke vote because I am not in a "swing" state so my vote really doesn't matter.

I used to, but it got so old that the seals broke and it started leaking (plus it was so old you basically had to wash them 90% of the way before loading it up). I didn't mind, I grew up without a dish washer and was used to washing everything at night. But I am getting a new one delivered and installed next week. It is supposed to be so powerful I can just throw everything in without any rinsing. I'll still have to wash my pots and pans though.

Yep, I have done it for years. I started using a water filter again recently because it does have a bit of a funny aftertaste unfiltered, but for the most part the water is completely safe here.

But boy is it "hard", I have to soak all my facets in CLR 4 times a year so they don't clog up.

As many that can fit in the amount of freezer space you own +1 (for eating when you get home). Any more then that and you are just wasting food.

Animals and bugs don't scare me at all because I know as long as I don't mess with them they won't mess with me. As long as I am not going around attacking random spiders and snakes why would I fear them?

Acrophobia (heights) is probably the big one for me, to the point I have never even tried cleaning my second story gutters in the 8 years I have lived at my house. Second would be aquaphobia(drowning), but I haven't really had to deal with anything that would trigger that in the last 20 years.
