At least with most escort missions the developers don't make the whole thing trial-and-error like in those countless terribad "and then the guy suddenly turns around mid-step with no warning just to screw over the player" stealth missions. --- |

| DevsBro 09/02/17 11:55:15 AM #24 | I frankly always hated quite a few details about the control in 2D Metroids but yes, stage design and atmosphere way more than makes up for it. Love those moments where you just kinda pick a direction and you're not sure if you're going the right way and then it's like wow I'm really in deep going off in this random direction and then you step in the wrong place and fall through the floor and it's like oh crap now I'm screwed but then boom you run into the next boss and it's like hell yeah I found it myself. Another comment, though Kirby Superstar is an amazing game, I would call it at least second-best. Planet Robobot blew me away, and I might even call SS third just on the technicality that its own DS remake outdid it. But it's still quite the feat to hold the #1 spot from the SNES to the 3DS! --- |

It could have easily been a translation error, though, since there was no mention of cloning tech in the later games. And in 3 they actually changed it so your characters "lose the will to fight" lol. But you still have to go to the hug shop and pay to have then revived, lol. --- |
