This is an old PC franchise made by 3DO (remember them) that Ive got back into since I last played it in the late 90s to early 00s. Ive played 1 and 2 extensively and played a little bit of 3. I heard 3 was the best but I didnt like it as much way back then compared to 2. It felt like there was too much going on but I was a kid back then. It is probably different now.

Ive almost best everything in HOMM2 including all the Campaigns so maybe Ill buy HOMM3. Maybe I can download some custom maps online if they exist for 2. I know you can make some since I messed around with the editor when I was a kid.

Fair enough. He should have know better. In fact, its inexcusable just like that horrible act that was reported. Just to be clear, I work 7 on 7 off 12 hour shifts overnight. So I often miss big news stories and its harder for me to keep track of what is accurate and/or up to date. I dont have a side I take outside of the civilians side.

The hospital bombing is one example of many. Based on what Ive seen, I think the Hamas did it. However, I dont really know for sure so please dont treat it like Im saying its something I have 100% confidence in. Everyone has super strong opinions on this on both sides. People dont want to trust any news source or even the president no matter which side leans where.

It feels like there is nothing you can trust if you only want the truth while most of the country only look for sources to back their own agendas. Finding the truth is so difficult. Even if you find evidence to back a claim, the evidence could just be fake. What a time we live in

I was wondering what was going on. Looks like a peaceful Anti-Isarel protest was happening inside the Capital. You see lots of people holding signs up and chanting. You see the Capital police surrounding them but standing down. They are just standing at attention. Why? Because it's PEACEFUL. Yet this far right republicans are saying this is a "true insurrection" unlike January 6th. They are asking where the media coverage is and why aren't the police doing anything. If it's just for you, a lower end one is fine. The larger ones hold more water, but there isn't much of a benefit outside of that unless you plan on 6+ cups a day for multiple people. All k-cups are compatible, yes, as long as it's stated as such, which I haven't encountered any that weren't. They also make screened fillable ones where you can pack in your own grounds and run it through the machine, which is more environmentally friendly and cost effective in the long run.

Im starting to appreciate the power of caffeine the older I get. I work overnights so Ive started to 1 coffee, Monster Loca Moca, at work to start my shift and its really nice. Nothing available is really healthy at all but it works.

I feel like buying a keurig fixes a ton of problems. I can drink it before work which means it wears off faster when I get home. Its healthier and I can drink one to start the day on my off day. I see the prices vary wildly. Ive see it go from $50 to $170. Does it really matter which one I buy? Are all the keurig cups compatible with all the machines?

What the hell is going on with this war? Israel warns millions of citizens they need to evaluate within 24 hours before they engage. We know that isnt possible. Not enough time. Its such BS.

I recently read a tweet from someone I trust saying that the Hamas have official put up roadblocks to prevent their citizens from leaving the danger area. I knew there were talks about it but it seems to have actually been done. This person typically doesnt have a source in their tweets but they tend to be accurate. I cant find any confirmation from other sources yet.

If thats true, what the hell is going on? Are they trying to use their own citizens as hostages?

As someone who has a job that will never be WFH and I have to commute I would rather just do my five 8 hour days. Not that I have far to travel but when you throw in a 10 hour work day at a demanding job both from a physical and a mental effort then you add on that travel time both before and after work it starts to become too much of a grind for my tastes.

I start to feel like I have very little time during those 4 days of work and it all just becomes a 4 day blur of work and sleep. I'd rather feel like I had a chunk of downtime each day where I feel like I have been away from work and enjoyed myself some.

If I had a WFH job I'd be more open to it.

Well not every job has to be like that. I currently work 7 on and 7 off. Just a different standard than 5 day work weeks

lol, no its not. If anything its a good thing for consumers everywhere. Bobby Kotick held that company back for far too long. At the very least you'll see a crap ton of new fresh content in all of the games come 2024, not to mention that the employees won't be treated like shit anymore by a guy who looks like he was cut from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie.

2024 is too early to expect significant changes. It will probably take 2-3 years

What monopoly? Xbox is the worst selling mainstream console right now. Steam is the more popular store on PC. More people are subscribed to PS+ than Game Pass. More people bought Mario Kart 8 than are subscribed to Game Pass.

Call of Duty is still multiplat and going to Nintendo platforms in addition to boot for the next decade. All of the games are now going to Game Pass. The Blizzard stuff like Diablo and Overwatch isn't going anywhere. Activision don't really seem to be currently making anything else.

Outside of a potential new survival IP from Blizzard going exclusive to PC and Xbox I don't really know what's changing for most people anytime soon?

They get a better deal with Game Pass, they can now buy COD on Nintendo and everything else remains the same really.

Im realizing Im having an issue with not knowing what stories are real or fake. My main issue right now is my over reliance on Twitter. It use to be pretty solid for stories but has fallen off of a cliff since it was turned into X.

It feels like misinformation is everywhere and confirming if its true or false is also hard to do. The recent topic I made about Israel and White Phosphorus is a prime example. I didnt fact check it so thats on me. However, even if I did after the fact, I still dont know to this day if that story is real or not. I dont know if the video is real and taken from a different war, if the video was real but the white phosphorous was used for illumination or if the video was completely fake. I dont know if the statement about Israel using it on citizens recently is real.

I looked it up on Google and there are articles written by sites I dont recognize. I dont know if I can trust these sites or not. I know I didnt see any articles from any major outlets but major outlets lie all the time too. It just feels like I dont really know how to get accurate information.

How do you relate to someone so much younger than you?

I never really understood this. People can bond of mutual interests/hobbies. Sure growing up they didn't experience roughly the same things but that doesn't matter too much. I've really developed this opinion with how much I online game with people. I play with people from all kinds of different age groups and we all have fun. Our conversations aren't crickets either because of the age gaps. It is more than doable

I remember them adding a rule a while back where they had some kind of pitch/batter clock or something. Whatever it is, it made the game WAY more enjoyable to watch. The pace kinda feels like you are playing MLB the Show which is fantastic.
