That the "go to sleep Joker" thing wouldn't be much, if any worse than being denied day actions in P3 on full moon days, or not being able to do stuff at night after entering the TV world in P4.

I was so horribly wrong, the game is at the point of not even trying to justify not letting me do shit at night. No previous trips into palaces/Mementos during the day, no big plans for the following day. Just "nah, let's not do anything tonight." Go fuck yourself, you goddamn cat.

Xenoblade Chronicles

Tell me about the combat.

Think closer to MMO style combat than typical turn-based RPG stuff. You periodically auto-attack, and have several arts you can use that recharge on a cooldown. Nothing too fast-paced or physically taxing; it's much more about the mental aspects, namely strategy and positioning.

Granted this is a very simplified look at the system, it's pretty damn complex, but should about give the idea.

You need to take advantage of spirits. The staff makes the Pauline one trivial for example.

Can't figure out Dr Wiley yet though.

I think for that one, I did Viridi (Metal Killer ability) and one of the Franklin Badge ones. But there isn't really any way to really cheese that fight.
