I tried replaying it about 4 months ago and all the models in that intro montage cinematic thing were t-posing. And then in the first mission several items were unlootable for me.

I did have like two people t-posing there at launch too.

Only change I care about is how you can't start match with the Ghost perk anymore, making UAVs even more overpowered

Also the gameplay is standard post-WoW MMO gameplay, but the vast majority of story content you can do solo. Basically everything but optional raids and dungeons are soloable now. So if that's why you don't like MMOs, feel free to try it. If you don't care for the gameplay well uh idk then.

Couple years ago apparently they added Beornings as a playable race/class, which are men that turn into bears. So yeah. You transform into a bear and wreck shit.

Think I'll sub soon and start a new character but idk what class to go with. Hunter and Warden seem like the best for travel speed, lots of teleport abilities between cities and settlements. But also I could be a bear...

More on the subject of the show, the Criston Cole development is pretty solid. And Larys Strong is well written so far, feels a lot like the real Littlefinger (and not what was in the show)

Not sure. Mordor is a (relatively) recent addition, their expansion releases kinda followed the progression of the Fellowship. Base game was Eriador with the focus on Angmar, then the first expansion was Moria after the Fellowship had been through it, then Mirkwood, Isengard, Rohan (for two expansions I believe), Gondor, then Mordor, then moved on to post-book settings. I played til partway through the Isengard expansion so haven't been to Mordor.

It was pretty cool back in the day, WoW-like set in the LotR books setting, Tom Bombadil and all. Idk if it still holds up but I'm so tempted to find out.

Apparently they added two new classes since I played, Beornings (seems not super lore friendly but cool as hell) and Brawler which I know nothing about other than I imagine you just punch shit.

Last time I played Rohan wasn't even in the game, and since then they've added it, Gondor, Mordor, Minas Morgul and some shit with dwarves.
