Arguments against turn based combat serve to remind me the lack of imagination/creativity of most gamers. I just enjoy playing the more relaxed nature of turn based while pretending it is happening in real time. Basically exactly how the show does it. Except the show does have some improvements upon a base turn based system basically like how FFX does it. Which I mentioned in another topic would be the ultimate formula for a new mainline pokemon game.

Yeah that's what I mean. But like within an actual pokemon game, not one completely devoid of life.

FFX/FFX-2 perfected the turn based formula then after that everyone either went too far with it trying to break the mold or not far enough with it just settling for less. I would love a main pokemon game that just rips off FFX.

I find it funny the argument people use for Arceus saying "this is a good first step for the franchise into something new" knowing full well they are going to go back to the normal shit next gen.

Don't really care for either but Raichu just kind of sucks. Pikachua fills the niche of being cute electric rodent. Raichu just seems disappointing as the evolution because it tries to seem tough and intimidating but really is just a chud who barley out performs pikachu.

Yeah there isn't really anything on it. Bought it a couple years ago and basically never used it. Just being sure I don't have active sign ins or whatever plus I doubt someone wants an already used operating system.

That's really bulked up compared to dudes in the past. Plus his suit will be way way more padded and modern cinema will be used to alter what he actually looks like.

Modern "skinny" batman is probably way more bulked up than Batman prior to the 90s or so.

i was a baller in those middle school typing classes.

I also took an advanced typing course in high school as an elective, but really didn't need it at that point. I basically just spaced out the entire time and still got an A. And I didn't try at all in high school so most my grades were like D's.

This. It is fun to watch and root for "your team". It can even be fun to get competitive with it with family and friends. However, as soon as it is over, it is over. Get back to living your life. As soon as it starts taking over your life or making you feel bad, it is time to reassess the situation. It isn't worth it then.

I actually read this book in like November 2019 just prior to COVID happening just to give you an idea of how freaked out I was.

I liked the book. It was good, not great.
