There's tons to complain about though. Also the reporter likely knew exactly what was being said, it was pretty clear. They just can't say that on tv.

Great game, still like the 2nd one better, but first game is amazing.

My very first run i screwed up a bit, but ended up being light side warrior type dual wield. Seemed alright, force leap was fun. Sometimes I'd kill enemies in a single hit like that with all buffs going.

2nd run was pure dark and force powers. Went I think scout at the beginning to maximize the bonus damage when an enemy can't move. I forget how it works now, but something you can do when an enemy is stunned, feared, etc you can use a lightsaber hit and do bonus damage. It was useful as sometimes you run out of force points.

Both characters had somewhat heavy persuade, just different damage stats. Not much str on 2nd character, more into willpower/wisdom for force using.

Sure I can. The characters are interesting and endearing. The story, while not amazing, is pretty good. It touches on things like the future and past that not many games do. You see the world evolve in different ways.

The sprites are still solid to this day and the music is still one of the best around.

Go on? Ok, well if you insist. The combat is pretty basic turn-based stuff, but its not bad either. The attacks are interesting and fun, especially the combo attacks with 2 (and rarely 3) party members is great. Not too many games do this. Even rarely do they do it well and make sense combinging them.

I'm sure there's more but you're basically helly with this opinion.

Do you mean single attempt w/o dying or just constant retries? If 1 attempt that likely an hour, maybe a bit more or less. More than that most games have some kind of "ok you failed, give up" mechanic that will just kill you to reset.

I don't remember struggling too much with Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin when I was younger, but Order of Eclessia was a fair bit harder.

OoE is definitely the most difficult of the Metroidvanias. It was legit hard at the start, none of the others are like that. Its also one of my favorites.

I loved Legend of Dragoon's system overall. Even the items you had to spam a key to get the most damage out of which was neat.

I also really liked the one from another PS1 classic, Legend of Legaia. A bit lesser known, but still a great game. It was fun figuring out combos to link together and new moves at the time. Not skill-based like LoD but good.
