| D-Lo_BrownTown 09/05/17 6:13:01 AM #1 |  tl;dw Pete Hines replied to people on twitter. Gets very frustrated because the creation club doesn't have paid mods but mini DLC's. The only distinction he can make between paid mods and mini DLC's is that Bethesda QA tests them (fucking lol) and that they don't turn off achievements and trophies. He also addressed criticisms that they allowed existing mods onto the Creation Club when they specifically said they wouldn't do this. Basically Hellfire Armor, Chinese Stealth Armor, and other repeat mods they put up don't count because they're not original ideas since they were "first" in Fallout 3, so they can put them on their Creation Club all they want. --- |

No. Darkels missions were re purposed into Rampages because they felt Darkel didn't fit in as a story element. This happened long before 9/11 happened. The dodo was clipped because they couldn't get flight physics right in time (or, they decided NOT to finish them in light of 9/11, no one is sure on that) and just decided to "clip the wings" as a reason why it flies like shit. I don't think they've ever flat out said why Shore Side Vale didn't have any story missions. I know the prevailing theory is that it was always meant to be a set piece specifically for the finale, but they thought that was wasteful and then they added to it just to make Liberty City have more flavor. IIRC pre-production artwork of the map kind of points to this because Shore Side Vale was a hell of a lot smaller/less detailed, and the airport was moved there from Staunton Island to add to it. --- |

If I really had to guess, I'd say that they didn't originally envision The Hand being the big bad of the Defenders waaaay back when they started all this, probably it was going to be Fisk or something else. But then they realized during pre-production of DD S2 that Fisk *had* to be Daredevils nemesis, and that just introducing a new big bad out of nowhere would piss people off, so they scrambled to connect The Hand to everything without any sort of gameplan. That's why they seem so inconsistent from Season 1, to Season 2 to Iron Fist. --- |
