I really liked the whole premise of being lost in space and still keeping it together. Also Janeway was pretty badass on occasion and the Borg kept it all interesting for me. I still think old future Janeway was pretty dang badass when she willingly got herself assimilated to allow the Voyager to escape. Kirk was an explorer at heart, Picard was a legendarily skilled ambassador, Sisko was a tactician/strategist, and Janeway was a scientist. You have to watch their various shows with these points in mind to appreciate all four, though being a captain is also a jack of all trades situation and each had to have experience in all areas as well.
