Man I hate all that Bajoran emissary crap. Him refusing treatment that might save him from brain death just because he wants to continue experiencing "visions" is just moronic.
Worst captain ever.

Besides Avery Brooks is an awful actor. The kid that plays his son does a better job than him.

That is a really great episode, the darker side of federation warfare is quite interesting.
The duplicity of DS9 is annoying. It has the best and the worst of all Star Trek.

Voyager had its flaws, but even the Ocampa crap isn't as bad as the Bajoran crap in DS9. I really liked the whole premise of being lost in space and still keeping it together. Also Janeway was pretty badass on occasion and the Borg kept it all interesting for me. Also the doctor and 7of9 are awesome characters.

Though it is terrible and unnecessary in the finale.

Because it is aggressively uninteresting to hear about a dull people and their ridiculous religion.

Their religion isn't really ridiculous considering their gods actually do show up.

And the Bajorans are fairly interesting, a peaceful, religious people who had to quickly learn military strategy and terrorism to combat an occupying force.

But they are not gods, they are Wormhole aliens.. Q is more of a god, but at least they don't make a religion out of him.
Also the Bajorans were occupied for 50 years, that's not quickly learning anything.

Gods are relative. The wormhole aliens see all of time at once, so they're omniscient. That is a godlike quality.

I see it more like creatures existing outside normal space-time, we are as weird to them as they are to us.

That's the idea anyway, the series doesn't really keep this straight.

Yes, but they don't understand the linearity of our time, just like we can't fathom experiencing all of time at once.

Yes, that is true, but it had to end somehow. I still think old future Janeway was pretty dang badass when she willingly got herself assimilated to allow the Voyager to escape. It makes little sense though, since Janeway saved herself and the crew that way, there'd be no reason for her to go back in time again in the future.

Sisko is a great captain.

I would say DS9 was the most consistent trek show. Yeah seasons one and two were slow and it has some horrible episodes but it does not have any unwatchable seasons like say TNG season one or the ENT season one.

I disliked the Bajoran stuff too, but come on. Sisko's awesome. Dude punches omnipotent beings and gives no fucks. I'll agree that his acting is off. Not bad, but it feels/sounds weird to me.

Plus, there's freaking Janeway, who seems mentally unstable at times.

If you're thinking about that episode where he keeps a cure from a sick people, it's not certain that they all died though.

The four main Star Trek captains could be be exemplified by their primary trait as a Star Trek officer. Kirk was an explorer at heart, Picard was a legendarily skilled ambassador, Sisko was a tactician/strategist, and Janeway was a scientist. You have to watch their various shows with these points in mind to appreciate all four, though being a captain is also a jack of all trades situation and each had to have experience in all areas as well. But that's the best frame of reference for all four, imho.

Sisko is awesome. I personally have him just below Picard and above Kirk. He's miles ahead of both Janeway and Archer.

I do agree that the Prophets stuff is my least favorite part of the show, especially when it was used to magically erase the Dominion fleet that was about to enter and conquer the Alpha quadrant.

I'll give that he has more interesting story arcs than Archer, but you can't put him above Kirk, that's almost sacrilege.

He did stand up to Picard, but I felt that was misguided. Picard did not exactly choose to become assimilated by the borg and kill his wife.
I've watched Enterprise yep.
