So now that I've had the day to process, I feel like this episode tried to cram a lot in, despite being long. Like this could have easily been two episodes with a break at discovering the planetside Mandalorians and with one episode focused on the potential for interclan conflict.

It was also handy that a conflict to retake Mandalore presented itself in the form of Gideon's remnant, and that the plot point of "Mandalorians" breaking Gideon loose was in fact beskar-wearing Imps. Still don't know what the point of Elia Kane is. She shut down Pershing and then reported that, to what end? What's her role in all this?
