I think killing Abacus or Crescent is the optimal play if killing someone today.

The game's sudden revival shortly after I showed back up speaks volumes, as far as I'm concerned. Nothing was happening at all until I popped back in to swat the lazy votes away from me. Red for example has done essentially nothing since my return but to pop back up and loosely shade me as soon as the votes left me. He has made no effort at all to actually pursue an avenue that resembles a scumhunt.

I mean if that's the way you're going to react, then I really question why you signed up for an experimental game, since it seems like you're not very open to it.

Experimental games can be fun, when they're actually mafia games. Blade and Chris for example both have had a habit of including various crazy never before heard of roles in their specialty games of questionable balance, but the games themselves are still games. That is what I was expecting here.

This is not a mafia game. As soon as this game ends, I will close the book on it and never reference it in any way again. I will not take anyone else who references it in an argument in an actual future mafia game seriously.

I noticed Ulti's vote on Ben seems to stick out in those votals, so I was wondering when it was placed, and why it was still on Ben.

...And found out Ulti has not posted in almost 20 hours. Can you come grace us with your presence, please?

Oh and Chris was so pissed at me after that game that he basically wrote this wall of text insulting me after it that I never actually read. This mighta been 5 years ago, though.

Correct. I don't consider this game worth playing outside of a potential night 1 surprise, and that lone hope is keeping me going.

I actually do have something of a history of getting hostile and/or dismissive during games I feel are ill conceived. I can remember one game some years ago where I effectively suicided myself on night 4 as some absurd anti-town town power role that was so bad it put me under constant fire all game.

Now, I KNOW for a fact this is not enough time for me to make a follow up post, even if I saw kirby's flip the second it was posted.

But we also had no way of knowing how soon the flip would be posted or when to look for it. So, Do we think Sbell was furiously refreshing the page and saw kirby's flip immediately, read the flip and then wrote up this response in 40 seconds?

Or does that timing make it more like a post he had pre-written that he needed to post as soon as possible to stop anyone from counter shooting him?

I believe I could do it in 40 seconds, but I would wager many can't. It does have an aura of being pre-typed, and SBell is one of those people who's been posting once and then ducking out all day

Yep no that's not being under suspicion at all. Love how both Red and Abacus showed up as soon as votes moved off of me and onto him, though.

I'll hold that everyone who posted in that earlier timeframe when I returned is probably town. So Ctes, Ben, Death, and Lea all get town points for actually being there.

The bad play was threatening him in the first place. But lesson learnt: never ever expect anything out of kanz.

All Kanz had to do was play the game for a bit and I wouldn't have shot. I just wanted to see him act under pressure and he chose to basically go idle.

Why did you rush to shoot him after he made all of like 3 posts, when another player in the game still only had one, and it said nothing?

This game is not worthy of respect unless we get the dramatic change at night Lea has me hoping for.

See the thing is Ulti is one of the few players with the balls to actually do that so I don't townclear him for it, I just have no reason to think he's scum.

As for Red, the nagging issues with the shot is it felt like it was aggrandizing a lazy decision . Kanz posted like 3 times? I feel like Red shot him before he could even come up with a suspect.

Though the danger of being countershot would totally be a thing, just look at what happened to Kirby, which is primarily why it left me perplexed. The followup though is that Red's vote on me is arguably the worst vote that's been placed in the game. There's nothing behind it except tacking onto you. The closest he's gotten to ever calling me scum is using the absurd notion that I'm supposed to be trigger-happy and giving the fact that I haven't shot yet as a reason to suspect me.

I do think though that a scum flip out of Red or Abacus definitively makes the other look worse. Red burning his shot on Kanz so fast while outright ignoring another obvious player who's done absolutely nothing could've been him making sure to shoot at a time before that other player came into focus. Once Kanz got into gear, then by his own logic Red would've been forced to go after Abacus next.

I think Ulti immediately claiming dayvjg is NAI because I think he does it regardless of his alignment. If Ulti gets that role and actually holds off on claiming it, it leads to questions of why he held off.

Abacus not doing anything whatsoever this game is what makes Red's obsession with Kanz more perplexing than anything. Kanz even pointed out how little this guy was doing and Red didn't seem to care.

I believe almost no one in this game is actually trying, so why should I? Almost 14 hours to fill ONE page speaks volumes.

It took me all of a cursory glance at the game after a nap to find a probable scum, and that was just a going through the motions assertion.

Oh and not posting because of fear of getting shot is bullocks. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone who's posted on this page so far is town and scum is just hiding in the weeds.

Red claims that people aren't posting because they are affraid of being shot, but he himself seems to have no problem voting someone who hasn't shot yet. I feel like he should be posting a lot more then.

Lea is a tossup. I feel like there's two potential reasons she voted me.

It could be because she's in the same boat I am in regards to being frustrated by existing in this game, and because part of her wants me to snap react by shooting her, or it could be the same opportunism Red is showing.

But in her case, I find there being more plausible reasons for her to be on me as town. She in no way actually denied my assertion earlier that she'd love to be shot.

In just 15 minutes, I've probably provided this game with more content than almost anyone else has in the last 24 hours.

Perplexed by him being so quick to murder Kanz. I really don't understand why he felt the need to rush and make a show of murdering him when barely anything was happening. Abacus for one has basically done nothing all game.

The vote on me reeks of opportunism, and not actually calling me scum in any way leaves him with some measure of deniability.

I'm essentially just waiting for the night phase at this point to see if anything interesting happens during it as Lea suggested might.

Related: Fawful is a terrible character and I don't understand why anyone above the age of 7 likes him.

Because I don't. I took a nap and came back to 3 votes essentially just for being a buzzkill. There's been extremely little that even resembles scumhunting while I've been gone.

Wanna actually find a scum? How about the guy who jumped on me after Ben's vote without once giving a reason to call me scum, and hasn't made a single post since.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is about the definition of "perfectly average game". I felt like I was going through the motions the entire time I was playing it.

I heard that the Raiders and Jets were by far the worst teams at drafting in rounds 1 and 2 in the league in a stat a couple of years ago, though the Jets (outside of the obvious bust at QB) have done much better recently.

The Raiders have been a dumpster fire in the draft for many years and their first round picks tend to not even be on the team 3 or 4 years later.

Nah this in me in "This game is a flagrant waste of my time and I'm not taking it seriously" mode. I've been having my fun with it where I can, but it's so inactive after all the bullets made most people stop playing that I couldn't even get a response to my Taken reference and that was lame.

I had time to think about this in Synagogue: This one page is taking over 12 hours to fill. One page. I'm betting most of the people here are just hoping they get shot so they can be relieved of this misery. Like, Lea for example, has probably been hoping for at least the last 20 hours that someone just shoots her and makes her stop having to bother.

Ah McGilded. While not quite the force I remembered you as, you were playing chess and everyone else was playing checkers. This case does a good job of building up to the realization that this guy is almost certainly guilty, but there's no longer anything you can do about it. I really appreciate how it heavily implies his guilt, but it never actually says he is guilty at any point. Unlike Brett, his immediate death doesn't feel wasted, because it directly ties into "The Reaper" lore, and it even plays a part in case 5.

Like case 1, it leaves the entire case surrounded in this aura that it's not really over yet at all. Some people dislike this, but I think GAA handles it's "unsatisfying" resolutions pretty well. While GAA2's primary case 3 villain is better (arguably the best in both GAA games), McGilded's smarminess and way with words makes him more than memorable. Everything about him from the start felt gray area.

Though perhaps the biggest mystery of all is upcoming... Why is Soseki prominent 3 times in 4 consecutive cases? His schtick barely lasts through one.

I still am confused by Red's obsession that I am a triggerhappy player because I have no earthly idea where he gets it from. In a normal game I'd be the person who hides having a vig shot until like night 3 or 4 before I even consider using it.
