Part of the reason why it may feel slow also is that it was a Friday night/Saturday morning when a lot of people in the sign up topic were split on when this game was starting. Don't judge the activity too harshly.

I was going to say if Red hadn't already, that I actually don't think his shot is the *worst*. Because the concept of pressuring someone like that means you have to follow through on the stated punishment or your pressure was meaningless. Maybe Red should have picked someone other than Kanz to pressure, but I don't think following through on his shot when Kanz clearly disregarded the threat was necessarily scummy.

Not sure that I like Ben shooting his "voice" and then dropping his image posting gimmick right away. I can understand that Ben was just having fun posting that way and probably would have come under threat of being shot for it eventually, especially since Kirby had pointed out the inconsistency of him knowing the 10 minute restriction despite having some other special property to his role apparently. But it felt like Ben dropped it under no pressure if that makes sense? Just out of guilt for shooting Scare I guess?

I also refuse to believe this is some last man standing, everyone is Town MAD game. And Lea brought up the idea of no scum team, but just independent Day Vigs as the anti Town force, and I also think that's unlikely. I realize this is an experimental crazy game, but I feel like both of those setups are just actively frustrating to play as town since you'll never actually find a good reason to shoot someone. Who knows, maybe we will be rewarded for holding our shots during the night or something. But despite the game being called MAD, I don't think Han's intent would be to make a game that isn't fun, which both of those above scenarios I think would be unfun for Town Day Vigs. So I want to proceed with the idea of there still being a scum team out there.

Though honestly I just went back to look at each shot, and I think the conclusion that I came to was Scare's and Sbell's shots looked thw worst from a scum perspective. So I can't even fault Ben for shooting him, unfortunately it didn't turn out right.

Ulti's shot was really bad too, but I'm inclined to think he's Town based on how he started the game before the setup started getting revealed.

I also like that Red voted Scare before Ben shot him. Shooting Peaf really was a pretty suspicious shot IMO. So that's one more small + in Red's favor for me.

This is a total aside since I don't think it's what's going to happen, but I had a hilarious idea for a game in my head reading the posts about theories of a transforming game. What if everyone today is Town, then N1 everyone is resurrected and the game is started over, but the Town to Scum ratio is based on how many people were shot. So if Town did a good job of holding their aggro, it would be like 17vs1 or something. But then if Town shot half the game, the next day would be 10v8 and the game basically starts in MYLO. Not sure it would be the most FUN, but it would be hilarious.

Looking back now since thats usually my only idea whenever I am lost about what to do.

In fact I think the weirdest thing Red has said this game was in his justification post for the vote - that "Scare should have known Peaf was town because of how he went after me for bad reasons" and "a town Scare wouldn't have shot Peaf".

I thought Scare wasn't town as well, but for very slightly different reasons than Red gave. Red can still be town for all that too, I'm just trying to find out why you think Red's voting for Scare post = town points

I didn't even try to think about what it was, just assumed it was something crazy

After realizing that Ulti was claiming day vig, I thought his reaction at the start of the game was really genuine and that he shouldn't have had it if he was scum and knew everyone was a day vig. This is all thrown out the window if it's a bunch of indy's, but I'd sooner believe that we're all town over that

At first I did wonder if Ulti was planning on claiming dayvig (from a myriad of choices). And when he did I expected him to take it back.
Then when I woke up again, the cat was out of the bag it seemed.

I took the chance to "guess" Day Vig as a breadcrumb, but then when he confirmed it, I suddenly understood what it meant for the game the be MAD, which I basically confirmed right away in my reply to Ulti's claim. You are making me consider one thing.. I dont know if scum would give up their shot on town when it means they lose the chance to intimidate someone who threatens them back.
I am also surprised scum hasn't just shot one of their own yet btw, if only for townpoints.

That said I like Lea for correcting me about how dangerous my joke about Ulti was.

Basically, when I made my joke post to shoot Lea, I didn't think he was Day Vig.
When he claimed Day Vig, I immediately reevaluated and understood that this being an experimental game, it made sense and everything fell into place right away.

That lines up enough
And I suppose not even a scumyou would actually expect Ulti to shoot Lea there

No decision yet. I don't see Lea's reasons for wanting to shoot Ctes at the moment. But there is a pattern of her indetintifying scum on gut and not being forthcoming with the exact reasons, as town. Or it could be scum picking a target to pick on and asking me to see if she can get an excuse for shooting her shot.

I do not think Lea asks that if she and Ctes are both scum together though

I think ulti is the closest thing to town confirmed we have in the game based on his first post. The shot on jc wasnt great but I went back and looked and it lined up with what I remembered, which is it wasnt immediately apparent at all jc was joking. Wouldve been nice if ulti gave jc time before firing away but of all the shots fired, his is the least bad imo

I wish Lea would engage with me by voicing her suspicion more. I tend to me good at reading people when they're putting pressure on me.

Maybe it's worth taking a look at who the dead people were suspecting when they died to try to find possible scum motivation in the shots.

Or maybe we just go for one of the inactives. If there ever was a game where I could see scum wanting to idle, this would be it.

Crescent does sound a little casual

Though thats hardly the only player to have committed that crime

I don't understand why Crescent posts ike that instead of idling if she's scum. Though maybe she just truly doesn't care.
