I got bit on the thigh by a dog about a year ago and while only two teeth really got through, they both went hilariously deep and left two puncture scars. Recovery was about two weeks, as the muscle was constantly locking up for some reason. This all cleared up and it never got infected. But once a while, probably twice in a month, it'll itch like crazy to this day. She was getting bored and flighty and was terrified of commitment and as seven years of living together was leading to me probing the subjects only a bare minimum, it freaked her out and she hooked up with some poly dude. I can't remember the last time a movie gutted me in the last literal second before credits but... damn. That frame is going to stick with me for awhile. I knew that Maud was full of shit and could sense the movie was going to pull the rug out, and even though a million hints made the outcome clear, the wrap up was phenomenal. Very eerie slow burn character horror, imo. It deals with social anxiety, loneliness and acceptance way more than it does horror tropes. Anyway, I make lovecraftian themed mods for games built with their assets but including my own stories, voice actors, custom music and a focus on polished atmosphere. They're basically playable short stories, none topping an hour, but are always visually dense. I write the stories and do all the level design and direct a little team of people who have done this with me for like, ten years. Resume part is over. You guys even helped me with this one! A lot of you gave advice on some of my level design topics. The Shadow of the Ramlord is a terribly titled Occult themed horror. You're an elderly Witchfinder who receives a letter asking him to investigate a nearby estate of a recently married Baroness, who claims her new husband is a Necromancer, and that a cult is forming. We arrive, but in past tense to most of the story with the manor abandoned, having to unravel what happened during a particular ritual.
