There are six units, 6 gas meters, 6 electric meters. There not only is a washer and dryer in the basement: there is an outlet. There is also a hot water tap in the basement. This is honest just following the rules?

I drink Greek coffee. I picked it up in Eastern Europe. You grind coffee fine enough that it will not float and pour in hot water. If you are a purist the water will be short of boiling. I use 200F for my French press but I use boiling for Greek coffee because the mug is cold.

PS Greek Restaurants in Chicago serve it.

I started drinking coffee when I was I little kid. I drank like a spoonful in milk with sugar. I tend toward cafe au lait but I make the coffee strong and use stevia.

I bought this 4level filtration French press for $10.99 and the hand grinder for $24.99. The French press has a kitty less option.

Diatomaceous earth is awesome in its many uses. Garden pests, in cracks for bedbug prevention, in filters for swimming pools, worming chickens.

Cats are not chickens and have very different digestive tracts. There are at least 5 sites which come up on a search that say diatomaceous earth will worm your cat or you. There is a study by National Institute of Health indicating that diatomaceous earth worms chickens.

I figured I was going to buy one sooner or later and that the earlier I bought it, the more I would get out of it. I like how the controller will mute/unmute and I just like it. I played Tales of Arise and I watch stuff like Wheel of Time on it.

I found a bunch of loose envelops packed in a box with other stuff and 5 minutes later I found the box.

I moved in June. Most of my stuff is still in boxes. I really had to find something better and cheaper.

I am creating this topic on CE because the trauma caused by frequent moves is insignificant and unnoted. I know that some families with children have to move every 6 months. What is the cost of this?

Housing is so important. I would argue housing is more important than health care because shelter is the first element needed for survival. It is just crazy that obtaining a title to a building qualifies someone as a landlord and that working for a someone with a real estate license qualifies someone to hold keys to your shelter and order you around.

BTW my current building has a box just inside the side entrance to the building with a tiny key lock where the keys are kept. The key to this box is in a MasterLock key box hanging on the alley gate. The manager agreed to move MasterLock box to the front gate but he never did. The other lock is also pickable so I guess why bother.

Can't the director just hire someone to write the communiques?

Having lived in neighborhoods which lost power and fried appliances I am appalled that Texas has not revised it power grid. Texans get out and vote. We know that the local government makes getting your vote in onerous. You have to spend 15 minutes finding a parking space, 20 minutes walking to the polling place and 2 hours standing in line.

Can anyone not see how Texas is getting away with stuff?

I wonder more why no one said anything until after the 5 day guidance was released to the public.

Do you mean the Heritage of Shannara series? That one is four books and is pretty solid imo. It does take awhile to get going though.

Sword of Shannara is a little rough to read through sometimes even for me, and I've been a fan of the series since I was 5 years old. Elfstones and Wishsong are still fantastic.

Setting permissions can require research. Everyone has experienced this.

Google is now a swear word.

I have been plagued by trusty, recommended apps no longer working.

Play Protect does not turn the permissions back on when you tap them to use them.

Play Protect does not keep a list of the damage it has done, of the apps it has turned off.

I really have needed apps and they did not work.

Sometimes I pay attention. Sometimes I read and understand the notifications on my phone. It is rare for me to do all three.

Just now I noticed that Google Play Protect is scanning my android apps and turning off permissions.



Oh, this is why apps no longer work when I have a need for them. Sometimes you just want to use something seamlessly without sparing critical thought on getting them to work. Thank you google for making me my worst enemy. I really need help to be stupid.

Now I turned off their app which was making me stupid.

There are apps which I use less often than three months. I am fairly certain that google does not tell you anytime or anywhere. "We just gave you a helpful app which is going to turn off permissions of your rarely used apps. You are going to have to figure out on your own why your app no longer works."

I am watching The Shannara Chronicles and it is not terrible, but I really think that the character, Wil, falls short. Wil's major accomplishment is getting the romantic interest of Amberle and Eretrea and the only character development is shorter, tousled hair, bruised face and dirtier clothes. Am I wrong?

A boxer targets the head. It is allowed as long as the boxer hits the face, ear-back of the head, whatever with his fist. This is a cool article because they found a gene in mice then found the corresponding gene in humans and other apes, and then rolled back the human version of the gene, reversing evolutionary changes to the chimp version.

Humans are super cooled apes. (Now I know when and why humans became furless).

Maybe not. The crux of boxing is figuring out your opponent and getting in damage faster than you get done in. You have to be in good physical condition, have endurance to pain and a drive to win, and be able to strategize.

Then again. Boxing dates back to the Ancient Greeks so it may just be an anachronism. I want to see it.
