If you only have a shed-hopper who's looking to camp out for a night, they sometimes move on without issue. Making your property less inviting and harder to hop around can discourage their return. Elderly folk and single women living alone have been taking these steps for years.

Just noticed you said you're renting. That's going to limit your solutions, I'm afraid.

As a gay man, I'm fine with Fraser playing one in an award-winning film for 3 reasons:
  • when the performance is done well (by sane standards), I don't give a flying fuck about the orientation of the actor...most of us don't
  • his infamous crucifixion by the biased divorce system garners my sympathy for him as a fellow western man
  • strictly limiting notable actors being allowed to play gay roles inadvertently leads to less representation of gay culture in hit films.
In the west, I'm really not hung up on the orientation of the actor doing the role. I'm fine with it when the chosen actor can do the part justice without making gay folk look like stereotypical abominations like certain other nations still casually do.

Do dogs give there humans stuff?

Some dogs do, yes.
Although not every gift they deliver is appropriate for the clean indoors...

Some cats also show this behavior, particular strays taken in and domesticated. They can still feel an impulse to hunt and it can coincide with an impulse to "share kills" to whom they regard as family (yes, some cats do this).

With dogs this behavior is more liken to sharing with the pack or paying respects to a demigod who grants shelter, food, and security. That humble concept might sound laughable, but in a dog's eyes humans casually open locked barricades, remove tasty food from containers, occasionally provide relief from pain, make uncomfortable elements go away, and scare off invading predators who could easily pose a threat to the pack. It should be no surprise why many dogs worship their owner's presence as something almost divine.

It's cult "amazingness" has been highly over-inflated by nostalgia and selective memories. The game is an unfinished mess on the 2nd disc. Square didn't get to completely finish what the project they started. They had to rush the 2nd half of the game to push deadlines. I can't remember if it was over pushy management, company merger, financing...all I remember hearing at the time was the devs didn't have enough time and it shows.

The game has a ton of great science fiction and RPG elements blending well in the first half (some game critics compared it to Chrono Trigger), but the choppy production into the 2nd disc aged horribly. Some of the cult worship over Xenogears are just nostalgic fans of the theme who wished the title got a proper continuation instead of Xenosaga (which just continued the tradition of crappy production).

It could have been great, but a lack of time and support killed it. From what I've heard, this is not an uncommon story for Japanese sourced titles with intricate lore and play systems. Sometimes the heads just want the product done NOW or the company faces issues before completion.

Hershey's has jumped on plant-based crazy. Vegan chocolate?!

Well:
  • does it taste good?
  • Is it less unhealthy compared to regular Hershey chocolate?
I mean, if it is better, I would be on board. That's been my main reasons to be disinterested in many vegan substitutions for contemporary Americanized foods. They have either tasted awful by comparison, there's inconvenient nutritional hurdles (I like protein, meat's easier to work with), or a dissatisfying combination of both. Those lackluster options can not win me over.

But if it tasted equal or superior to what we already have....now you have my attention.

The issue with bringing in "new faces" to the big screen from a selection of unused comic characters is the studio has to basically start from square one again to build up hype.

Avengers, X-Men, and Spider-Man were easy because they already had established familiarity with a decent portion of the public who didn't even read comics. Marvel had splashed those icons around for years as kids toys, cartoons, and product logos. Fantastic Four was an example of not having enough familiarity to keep movie hype (comic junkies knew who they were...non-comic enthusiasts, not so much). Some movie goers didn't even realize the FF had any association with Marvel until they saw logo before the movies.

Stuff like The Eternals would be another glaring example of a lesser known series which had issues in rooting popular recognition. One glaring fault was its comparative lack of "mortal trial against adversity" element because most of the chosen cast were like demigods. It was like the Avengers, except everyone was a version of Captain Marvel or Thor. Many other movies have tried this formula with box office success, but most didn't get sequels because the plots were effectively wrapped up...because all the heroes were Captain Marvels.

There's a ton of characters Disney could pull to the MCU, but they have to be careful with trying to strike oil with the lesser knowns. They can't all be surprisingly well received like Guardians of the Galaxy.

tbf, that was because Chris Rock decided not to press charges

I know.

That doesn't change how it appeared on stage to many of John Q. Public watching. Not every spectator heard about Chris Rock refusing to seek charges. Plenty of people would have still interpreted that as Chris Rock feeling pressure not to press charges because it's Will Smith anyway. That's the point. Either reason, it looked like Will walked away scott free because he's another privileged Hollywood elite. Fellow celebs and organizations cutting you slack for bizarre behavior, even a physical altercation, is privilege.

Millions of viewers saw that and shook their heads. It painted a different picture about Will Smith's character (and even mental state) than the positive one they had for years during his prestigious career. They witnessed what they felt was a public fall from grace involving a successful icon who once packed theaters. It was an ugly shock for both fans and critics for different reasons. The incident would never have garnered anywhere near the same about of buzz had it occurred off camera for millions to see. If he wanted it to just go away, his biggest mistake was approaching Chris Rock on TV. Will misjudged how much leverage he actually had in preserving his image.

Why have the people turned against Will Smith?

When Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, Will basically slapped himself too by spotlighting personal weakness on TV and then cried victimhood. He also got no charges put on him which appeared like another wealthy Hollywood elite getting away with what so many of the regular public cannot.

For multiple reasons it wasn't a good look. And the moment he chose to do it made it uglier. It made him look unhinged to a broad range of spectators. That can be career suicide for a celeb or speed it's decline. It made the incident and his marriage meme fodder.

Will Smith has been a Hollywood celeb for more than a couple decades now. Professionally, he should have known how the public could respond to his televised antics. It's in his business to know.

Will Smith is not a victim getting his legacy shit on by the public.
Will Smith is the one who turned around and shot it himself...over a woman who's shown she doesn't even give a shit about him.
And he got physical over it on a televised event for the world to see...

That's 3 justifiable things for the public to mock.

If you're a nostalgic Will Smith fan pissed about anybody being critical over his recent fall from grace and televised family problems, address your complaints to the man himself. He's the one who pulled the trigger and told the public it's open season on his reputation. Not Chris Rock.

The man you're a fan of is trying to commit career suicide for stupid reasons that have literally been admitted to on media...by the family. You don't blame comedians and other critics for laughing about it, you tell Will Smith to stop punching himself and crying victim. You remind him that the narcissistic lil harpy sitting next to him at the Oscars is not worth hitting anyone over. You remind him to fucking control himself.

Will Smith needs serious therapy and probably a good damn divorce attorney, but that does not excuse his behavior. If you want to treat him like a victim, you best be prepared to find out the assailant needed to be charged has been himself.
