A short time later Officer Piner began to discuss society being close to martial law and soon we are just gonna go out and start slaughtering them fucking ni. I cant wait. God, I cant wait. Moore responded that he would not do that. Piner stated, I am ready.' according to the summary.

Officer Piner then explained to Cpl. Moore that he felt society needed a civil war to wipe em off the fucking map. Thatll put em back about four or five generations.'"

Yes, hanging in general is popular, but it is a STREEEETCH to say hanging from a tree on its own has a notable history over the extremely notable history of lynching in the US.

Obviously the real life physics can be debated about whether the blast would actually repel him like that or not, but the whole "Something of that size/mass could be repelled and survive it/the fall/whatever" is based on real science and not just something they completely pulled out of their ass. It probably doesn't truly apply to this kind of explosion, but they decided it does, and so there's internal logic behind "Going small saved his life."

Setting aside his opinion on trans people in sports, Joe Rogan has been on the Left side of these issues his entire life.
